  1. Are these reels any good and what is a good price on them? Obviously the top right reel... Just want some opinions. I don't have any experience purchasing or using Shimano's. Thanks guys
  2. It seems like a really strong Veritas presence here. I've heard a lot of good things about the ***, but it seems that everyone has been sold out of them. As far as the Ghost, I've seen to many reviews saying they have a bad grooving issue with the guides. Thank you guys for all the information. I hope this will help a lot of the anglers like me who are budget fishermen. I don't need tournament grade equipment to fish my small lakes and ponds. Thanks again guys!
  3. After a little use, could you let us know if they still have the guide grooving issue? It's the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on one.
  4. The Pro Qualifier is a heck of a reel. I've had mine for 5 years and have not had one issue with it. Feels like a reel twice it's price. Best of luck and tight lines
  5. The new BPS Carbonlite (white) 7.1:1 is super smooth and feels extremely durable. It has the Dual Braking System and you don't even have to open the palm plate to adjust either brake. It pulls in quick and it has the guts to pull them out of heavy cover. It is regularly 129.99. I got mine during the Classic sale and got it for 85.00. 5.8 oz and on sale right now for $99.99 on BPS website.
  6. I am looking for a new rod to use almost solely as a frog rod. My budget is $100. I am torn between these two, so I turn to the land of vast knowledge and opinions. If you have another recommendation, I would love to hear it. Thanks guys. Another Pickle: Any thoughts on the Halo Daylights? I know they are suppose to have a parabolic action so I think that may cause an issue with hook sets on the top water.
