Denali vs duckett
I've fished the Duckett Ghost and the Abu Garcia Veritas. The Ghost's sensitivity is incredible. If you don't plan to use any fluorocarbon over 12 lb test or braid, then the guides won't be an issue. Of braid or heavy fluorocarbons are necessary, then steer far away from the Duckett Ghost. I love the Veritas 2.0 though. Great sensitivity and the guides are decent quality. Hope this helps.

Shimano citica vs curado 200i
They are the same exact reel. Only difference is the heat side spoil bearing is an antirust bearing. For the additional $30 bucks you could improve your Citica with a full set of Boca Bearings or the performance bearing of your choice.

Falcon Rod Owners (or previous owners)
I know Academy still does over the counter swaps. Bet warranty in the business in my opinion.

Triumph X, Bucoo, or Veritas 2.0
I am trying to figure out what rod to get. It's primary use will be for jerkbaiting and it will be paired up with a Daiwa Tatula 6.4:1. The three rods I've narrowed it down to is: St. Croix Triumph X 6'6" Med Falcon Bucoo 6'6" Med or the Abu Garcia Veritas 6'6" Med What is your opinion? *** *** Black is not an option because I have doubts about their craftmanship.

Micro or conventional guides on Frog rod
Thanks guys. It seems pretty unanimous that micro guides aren't for frogging. Really appreciate it.

Looking for a new line
I've just started testing some Spiderwire Stealth. It feel super smooth compared to PowerPro. I've used CX and was severely let down. Line snapped on two hook sets. For fluoro, I will never use another like except for Sunline Sniper. I LOVE that stuff. Just my .02.

Micro or conventional guides on Frog rod
I'm looking to buy a new frog rod. I am trying to decide between a Veritas conventional or a Veritas Micro guide. The rod will be used primarily as a frog rod. I must turn to your infinite wisdom as to which direction to take.

I have to put a vote in for the Johnny Morris Carbonlite. I've just used for the last few weeks. She hauls in 4 and 5 lber's out of grass with absolutely ZERO issues!!!

For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
I went to Peculiar City Reservoir Saturday. I caught 6 two plus pounders from shore using a Stanley Ribbit frog. They were hungry. They ate it up. Tight lines my friends.

One Baitcaster - What's Most Versatile Line?
20-30 lb braid. You can work top water, cranks, and soft platics with it. Fluoro won't work on top water, and mono has to much float to work bottom baits and cranks. Just my .02
