Somebody Forgot To Tell The Bass That I Was Fishing For Bass...
First two caught with zoom lizzard had one other get off and last one caught with ned rig. All 3 caught in 2 days on medium spinning tackle 8 lb fluorocarbon in ohio Got bit off the week before on a kvd lipless bait too. Never caught a musky when i was fishing for them with those expensive lures i guess nobody told them they aren't supposed to eat bass lures.

I was thinking the 6:3:1 if i threw a some small lipless or squarebills again in a pinch as i have a dedicated rod for cranks- Jerkbait / Topwater Reel Help Needed
What kind of reel would you recommend to match with a 6'6 medium fast action rod. This will be for topwater and jerkbats but i also wondered if in a pinch what other baits I could use this rod for if i was only taking a couple rods. I want to spend under 150 and was thinking about the curado i 6:3:1. Do you also think switching to using non dominant hand for reeling and dominant hand for rod action (using left handed reel im a righty) would help w walk the dog for topwater.- Daiwa Tatula Rod Versus Lexa Rod
Yup lots of good tatula reviews d**n you gander mountain why couldn't you have tatula rods and list them 50% off.- 1St Bass Of 2015 - What Bait?

Not much info reviews on the lexa wish i knew how far off it is from the tatula.- Daiwa Tatula Rod Versus Lexa Rod
I picked up a daiwa lexa 7'2 MH regular action casting rod at gander mountain few weeks back on sale for 50.00 was msrp 100. I have been debating either returning it or selling it to get basically the same rod in the tatula a MH regular action. I will mostly be using it for lipless, square bills and shallow crank baits paired with a tatula hd 6:3:1 with 12 lb mono. What are your thoughts is it worth it / justified spending the extra $60 - 70 ( cheapest one i found was $112 on ebay in that model ) or is the lexa going to be a better option for the price. What would you all do?- Fenwick Hmx Spinning Rod.

Cinnamon is best bass seem to hold on a bit longer and the red color really make for some reaction strikes. Oral B seems to work best in clear water.- Fenwick Hmx Spinning Rod.
- Xcalibur
I'd like to find that buyer maybe they were a different model. These were the realcraw series had about 4 different color variants. I definitely would have bought more clackin raps but there was only one- Xcalibur
My gander mountain is selling um for 3.99 Picked up a rapala clackin rap for the same price there too- Musky/heavy Rods??
I have 8 ft heavy gander mountain musky rod and I like it. I think I paid around 80 bucks can't remember for sure but I know it was less than 100. I might upgrade if I start catching more lol but for now it's a good rod. They have 1 year replacement warranty.- Pflueger President 6930 Reel & Rod Combo Recommendations

First decent baitcasters tatula hd 6:3:1 on lexa 7'2 MH regular action rod Curado i HG on G. Loomis e6x 7' MHF mag bass- Help Chosing Rod $100-175Ish
So this my was first post I thought I'd just update / finish it. I ended up ordering the g. Loomis E6X 843C (mag bass) 7' mhf rod to pair w my tatula HD 6:3:1. I plan to focus on using it for chatterbaits , spinner baits and jigs. I already stated i have a spinning rig (pflueger president/fenwick hmx m xf) for weightless senko, shakeyhead, and drop shot. From your input I realize the mh f is not ideal for crank baits which I use the least. However I would like the option to throw them I found the daiwa lexa mh moderate 7'7 LEXA771MRB (kinda long rod even though I have 7'6 and 8' musky rod ) at gander mountain. Would this be a good crankbait rod for the cheap (50.00) http://m.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?r=view&i=761014 As I said in my first post I am a novice bass fisher and hope to step up my game more this year with some more specific and higher quality gear. The lake we have cabin at here in Ohio is #1 in musky #s and this and other species like crappie, cats and saugeye have been my target but I want to get into bass fishing there and and some other local lakes. Thank you all for your input and help it is truly appreciated!!! BTW I ordered the g. loomis from tackle warehouse 189.00 free shipping, no tax and was in stock. I also found a coupon code type in TFoster for 10% off.- Help Chosing Rod $100-175Ish
I would like to ask one more opinion. I was really thinking about getting the tatula rod but can't really seem to find one under 150 for 7' MHf. The g loomis e6x is only like 30 bucks more. If I step it up and get one is the e6x magbass 7' mhf a good choice for all purpose (- crankbaits) ?- Help Chosing Rod $100-175Ish
Thank you all for the help everyone. Small jaw k didn't realize I couldn't throw some small cranks on the mh fast rod.- Help Chosing Rod $100-175Ish
Thanks!!! - Jerkbait / Topwater Reel Help Needed
