  1. Any advantage to the Pompadour vs the Jr? Also, what's the concensus on using one of the swimbaits in lieu of a fluke? Any preferences?
  2. sMAX/Vengeance, Winch/Winch, SX/Veritas 6'6, PMax/PMax
  3. I'm a believer in their Flick Shakes.
  4. Is it better than an SK Red Eye and how, if I may.
  5. I guess I need to check them all out! TW will love me.
  6. I just came in from an hour at the local county lake. Caught 3 on a Flick Shake 4.8 wacky rigged on a Jackall 3/32 head. I'm hoping to pick up a Pompadour Jr, a couple Askas and a few Sasuteki and Darts Hogs this winter.
  7. The only one I've fished is the Flick Shake 4.8, but I'm so impressed that I'm curious which of their baits are truly worth the time and $.
  8. I figured that out, but still don't own one.
  9. My suggestion is to learn to fish a Texas rig and alternate that with a spinnerbait. These will allowyu to cover the water column effectively. Also, find a small pond, less than 10 acres and find cover to fish and find out how to attack them.
  10. In order of catching fish, I have caught the most on XR08 in silver, then MB X-80TD and KVD 200. Colors range from Pro Blue to French Pearl OB.
  11. I break them down once a year, but intend to send them to DVT this winter.
  12. I've caught one bass on a squarebill, XCS 200 xCalibur in a craw color.
  13. I have to change mine. Warts produced two weeks ago for me.
  14. I believe we may be in the same area. May I be so bold as to ask which body of water these hogs came from? PM if you'd prefer to keep it off the open board.
  15. Jackall Flick Shake worms are my favorite finesse worms.
  16. 1/4oz lipless cranks.
  17. I can buy War Eagle, which isn't bad at all, but as a guy who fishes shallow, weedy lakes, spinnerbaits are my bread and butter for most of the year.
  18. Where do you all live that your walmarts carry quality spinnerbaits like Peppers? Ours carries a couple War Eagles, SK and Booyah along with the requisite cheapies, but that's about it.
  19. Good to know. I just may have to grab a few in anticipation of the acquisition of a paddle craft.
  20. I have pondered buying a few glass shad raps, but didn't know about the durability.
  21. Red Eye Shad struck again yesterday in eastern Kansas.
  22. Lipless cranks, 1/4oz spinnerbaits up shallow, wacky rigged finesse worms and I haven't thrown any squarebills yet..
