That is definitely a spot. Go fish Spring River down there. It is a spot/lmb river and starts out arount Mt. Vernon, MO as a smallie river.

Bill, fishandsave has a lot of pistol grip sticks, but theyre two piece. I'll have to look closer to my local junk stores.

Any older graphite pistol grip stuff is gold to me. I can't seem to find good ones for use in a canoe anymore. I wince thinking about putting a hundred dollar rod in the canoe, but those cheap, older pistol grip rods are ideal. All I can say is you stumbled upon some good ones. What were they?

I bought one pack of gp colored Rage Craws and haven't done a lot with them yet, but I love their action.

I found a deal on a Skeet Micro Honeycomb 6'3" MF. I have caught fish on unweighted flukes, grubs and lipless baits. It is versatile enough for me. I'd like to find a used 6'4" S Curve Skeet stick so mine isn't lonely. Being shorter, I find that I prefer shorter rods.

Wow, 400 feet is a lot of water. I would fish down to 35 feet and use drop shot to cover the first drop off above that line.

Which kayak did you get?

How far above the bait do you place the swivel?

I had a couple el cheapo baits do the same thing in the past, but when that happened after two bass, I wasn't thrilled.

I caught a 17" creek spot on a Pro Blue II X-80 TD.

Bragger, just kidding. I'm glad you're enjoying them. I thought about keeping them all, but i just don't throw bigger spinnerbaits. Some of them felt like half ouncers. That is a pig. Where is Cedar Valley?

I threw the T1 baits for a few years. I guess I need to go back.
