Never really had much luck with jigs, any advice?

Do you need to use floating plastics for a Carolina rig to work? & what size weight should I use? What are some of the best baits to use on a Carolina rig?

I've heard people use 3/0-5/0 so I settled right in the middle with a 4/0 hooks. I personally love gamakatsu ewg's and have no problems with hookups. the only time I'll miss a bass is if it's my fault or its really small.

What are some keys to shore fishing? It's tough sometimes without a fishfinder, I'm either casting along the shore, in cover, or straight out

From the moment you catch them, what steps do you take to get the fish home to clean and eat?

Also, since this rod is so sensitive is there a chance it would break on a larger fish or a hard hookset?

I am looking to get a micro magic pro for texas rigs, lighter spinnerbaits, and squarebill crankbaits. Are these good rods? and would a 7'0 Medium Fast Action be good for what i am using it for?

Just curious to hear what everyone else uses, for me probably anything texas rigged, hollow body frogs, and crankbaits. Topwater is my favorite thing to fish.

just started getting into fishing this year. I went almost every day in the summer and I found that trick worms, stick baits, buzzbaits, and topwater frogs caught me a ton

a lot of people think you can only throw frogs in the summer, I've thrown them early spring and caught some nice bass. around spawn is when you can start effectively using them. I like the booyah pad crashers and spro bronzeye frogs in just normal green frog colors. caught my personal best bass on one! (6.5 pounds)

when is the best time for white spinnerbaits or soft plastics? (weather, water clarity)

if you're like me, you can never have enough baits. but some basic things you'll want are soft plastics and hooks (stick baits and finesse worms are a great option) spinnerbaits/buzzbaits crankbaits frogs or other topwater soft plastics are probably the most versatile, but the key to success in any bait is to have confidence
