I rarely get out on a boat and I'm pretty young (so not much experience). I've gone out 3 times this year and I haven't caught a thing. Are there any tips that you guys want to give?

What's the best way to fish creature baits, worms, etc.?

i want to get better with top water, flukes and other soft plastics. Hopefully this ice is off by Saturday so I can get my lines wet!
