I was out on lake Wingra. Fishing Bass beds this spring I saw some monster Muskie in the shallows. Nothing beats the feeling of seeing something you think is a submerged log and it suddenly starts swimming around!

I agree the Cavitron's are GREAT! I couldn't believe how hard these fish slammed that buzzbait. When I saw the water rising behind the buzzbait on the first one my heart started pounding!! They truly are amazing fish.

Went out on a small lake near me today and while I only managed to catch one bass I did wind up landing 2 Muskie!. All 3 fish hit a black on black 3/8 Cavitron buzzbait. The first Muskie was 7 1/2lbs and the second was 12lbs. In the Muskie world these aren't considered very big but for me fishing out of a Jackson Cuda 12' kayak it sure was an accomplishment! I've never caught a Muskie before and definitely had my hands full with these two. I've heard stories about how powerful these fish were....I believe it now!!

If you love the Sahara then I would say no. The president can be had for relatively little $$. If your interested, my advice would be to just add it to your collection. Rather than removing a reel that you love.

I haven't checked the shop on Northport. Otherwise I too have looked all over the Madison area with no luck. Everything I have has come from TW or Cabela's online. Since you are local though I'd be more than happy to sell a couple bags if you are in need. Just let me know

Hopefully one of the shops you asked them about was Dorn. I was in there the other day and they weren't familiar with any of the products from Z-man for the rig and basically only had a couple Z-man products on the shelf.

For sub $100 glasses I'm a fan of the Spy optics. I have the Spy McCoy's and really like them.

For me it's just more of an issue with space & organization as I'm fishing out of a Jackson Cuda 12'. Not trying to reinvent the wheel. I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to knowing which baits are made of Plastisol but from the sounds of it if I just keep the TRD away from all other baits I should be good to go.

No, They said that if you are not keeping them in the original package that the Plano will work without any issues. Just don't store them with any baits made with Plastisol

I just called Z-man and asked them about this. Their response was that a Plano is fine. The only issues are if the TRD's are stored with baits made with Plastisol.

The salesman told me that they are going to be getting more in next week. Didn't say what day

So I recently started fishing the Ned rig and was wondering if it's ok to store the TRD's in a Plano out of the bag? I have heard that you shouldn't store Elaztech with other plastics but wasn't sure about about being in the Plano by themselves. F.Y.I obviously they would be sorted out by color...not sure if that matters but just want to be thorough in my explaination. Thanks Guys!!

I have a couple pairs (different lens colors) of typhoon sunglasses that I've bought off Ebay. For the price they are very comfortable, polarized and offer great clarity for fishing.

No rebate from eBay but still in the $80-85 range. Not bad for a $100 rod. Rarely do they ever go on sale.
