he has a good chance 9/5 mayb even 3/2. but they dont call Belmont park the "Big Sandy" for nothing. Ca..Chrome had a good chance last year and just didnt finish. but after a rest has come back a won some other races. Big Brown thorough a shoe and then was caught inside early and could not make it up. one thing that happens, the colts pass the preakness to rest up for the belmont and a 5 week period may mature the horse a bit. Many are stating AP is a contender for the TC more so than the others in the past few years. one fellow has a poll started on "how low will one take AP in the odds" many have selected between 4-1 and 8-1. i'm at 5/2 halo

perch walleye and trout have little flavor.. we would take catfish fillets and coat them with cajun seasonings and pan fry. ive cooked trout a couple of ways, coat them with corn meal and pan fry. stuff with a crabmeat mixture and saute first then bake in the oven. finish with lemon and capers. as with the other fish bass etc. we would dip in 1/2 1/2 and then in flour and saute. and some hot butter , parsley and lemon juice. pan needs to be hot. we would take whole pickerels "in the round" and just bread them and then deep fry. the fillets come off easy with hardl also .y any bones also a simple sauce of chopped tomatoes and capers w/ some thyme and basil and bake the fish in the sauce. used walleye fillets and coat with herbs and then just grill the fillets. got to b careful on that one break up easy

True about pics from tournaments. i didn't want to post it. a local bass club had a tournament back in april and the pics that these guys posted were huge!

i also want to thank glenn for the video section as i learned new stuff. we didnt have the internet when my buddy(passed) and i fished. we use to wait for the VCR tapes to came out and rent the new ones. i'd rent or he would rent and we would watch and take notes as the tape had to go back..good old days......

Well i am all ready to go fishing one day next week after 20 years. cleaned all the reels up, respooled w/ new line and bought some senkos and a couple others items. i can still use the plastics i have as they where sealed pretty good. and bought bobber stops to rig the "punch skirt". new to me. have the rods set up with a wacky and a drop shot. also new for me. now the draw backs. have to rent a boat, so no sonar or electric motor. the lake i'm fishing is now called the "Dead Sea", but i don't believe this. have some spots i'll go where i caught fish before. have to wait also till 8 am to get on the lake as thats the rental start time. i have 5 target places to go in about 6 hrs. one is Rip Rap area right across from launch. I'm sure its been hit pretty good by others but i thought its a start to get my "lines" wet. 2 other places are deep water structures. and one place has been singled out on "fishidy". the lake should not be to crowed during the week. OBTW i do have a boat, but no hitch on the car and since we're moving to the west coast this year some time, will sell the boat. but will take off the transducer and mount. i viewed on Bass pro shops a portable rig to use ones sonar. 50 smacks. soon as i get the flat tiers fixed i will save the motor. halo ps any one from the 'burgh knows what lake i mean the DEAD SEA
