LOL but these guys do risk their lives each race. one jock just died last week as he was paralyzed neck down. many guys fall and have spinal cord injuries at a young age and are done ridding. OBTW no insurance. the horse travels 35 mph and if they get tossed off they hit the ground hard. plus like the jock a few years ago after he fell got hit in the head by the horses hoof and crushed his skull. tough way to make a living when the jock gets only a small percentage of the purse money...

no not yet. not many boats on the main lake. drove over the the 528 boat ramp and noticed mayb 12 trailers but only saw a few boats. fairly windy per usual on the lake. my boat is like in "dry dock" and i need to get a hitch for the car. Plus i dont know if im taking the boat out with me when we move to the west coast. cresant bay boat rental does not open till Mem day and if one does rents a boat one cant go past either bridge or past the House in bear run. does dutch hallow marina rent boats any more??

my 2 cents, does any one use a "color c lector"? i have one and it also reads HOH temp and PH. it suggests a color depending if the HOH is clear-stained-muddy. has a long cord for the probe 35 ft if not deeper.

I'm on twitter and FB. and when i joined up w/ twitter 3 great lookin gals became my friends right away...they wanted me to go to there web site, go out for dinner..check out their photos.. cool... that was 3 years ago,,,haven't viewed them since......

i have some questions.1) why is garlic "flavor" such an attractant? 2) if i buy a "shad" flavored attractant, why can't i add 2-3 Tbs or 2 0z. of garlic infused oil to that mix and enhance it? OR add some garlic powder? (garlic salt might not dissolve) 3) can one buy a cheaper garlic infused oil and use a "spritzer" and coat a bait w/ this mist? i don't think i would want to add 'raw' garlic to the attractant, but if one poaches them for a few mins the flavor is milder. thanks halochef
