Companies send manufacturing jobs to china to keep production costs low. If it costs $50 In the usa to make a $150 reel but $20 with the same quality materials in china what company wouldn't do it. Its not about the engineering or better quality. That always stays where the company starts. Its about $$$ the purpose of a business is to make $$$. It does suck to lose American jobs but at the same time you have to find ways to make the product affordable and profitable. If it saves money in production then more money can be spent on engineering. In the end it should leave the consumers with a better more affordable quality.

duckett is passionate about the sport. he doesnt need the money so im sure hell come out with some affordable quality reels

wonder if i should spend the money or just save the money and get a better reel like a abu garcia stx. looking to get a stx, quantum smoke or exo, another winch, maybe even get chronarch. winches for cranking everything else is 6.4.1 to 7 plus. is it worth changing the bearings on these higher quality reels too?

Just wondering. Don't think so and I haven't fished in a since it started freezing. Im in northern Illinois lakes are frozen over already.

d**n That's good to know. I have buddies that work at bass pro so il get a for sure from them. I traded my reel In for a different gear ratio so I guess I got a different or regular quality pq. Lol

i seen the black friday add from bass pro this yr. seems they changed the reel up a bit. picked up the pq combo and a cheap bass pro rod as a combo last yr for $75 this yr i think they want 70 for a better rod and updated pq. seems like a good deal. hope they made it lighter. have yall heard anything on this? it be nice if they updated the johnny sig series reel too.

I have a 12in pet bass in a 20 gallon tank. He seems fine but I sometimes think of throwing him back in a pond. I feed him about 15 goldfish a week

That's the biggest rod quantum makes though. Picked it up on sale at walmart for $100. Does seem a little soft for the 10xd though.

i bought 2 of these babies earlier in the spring hoping to get a big one deep but havent been able to fish them much since theres alot of weeds up here in northern il. anyone from up north have any luck with them? i threw them on a 7'10 kvd tour cranking rod and a revo winch. im thinking getting my sexy shad one autographed by kvd at the chicagoland fishing expo this jan.

I CAUGHT THE BASS ON MY PROFILE PIC ON IT. I HAVE A FEW BUDS THAT WORK AT BPS AND THEY SAY IT HAS THE SAME INTERNALS AS A 2ND GEN REVO STX

I set my drag all the way and use 20# fluorocarbon on a medhvy 7ft rod. It works like a champ. I'm never broken off 20#

i went back to the lake this past sunday. no wind or clouds got skunked. i seen a couple had 2 bites on a 3/8s oz football jig but they didnt take it. its tough fishing that lake. found a shallow rocky area that will be the **** during the spawn. but thanks guys il keep trying for smallies and use yalls tips.

Fished the arashi today again still no luck. I guess the weather change messed up my day but it is a quality square bill. I've never had a problem with kvd 1.5 I caught my profile picture bass on a 1.5 with stock hooks.

Fished one today. No fish but it does run true casts a mile and has a wide wobble to it. Yall have any luck on them??
