  1. when i spend all my money on a $10 lure and lose it first cast. > also when my lure goes flying of the line two miles when casting becuase has a bad knot. and my #1 peeve: people littering in the lake. IT MAKES ME SO MAD!
  2. i'm sure big bass will snack on the small ones, although once they get over 12" the bass probaly leave them alone.
  3. yeah thanks a ton! the rods are awsome! ;D it matches my okuma reel perfectly, and it feather light! Tight lines matt (PS for those that dont know, muddyman sent me and bassholebuster two fenwick rods for free! what a great guy!)
  4. product first. then cash.
  5. i got an idea. Work out more! jk I think that boat wheel thingy looks good for the money. Seems like that would make it a sinch and would work well.
  6. no, but i'd like to have some small names sponser me once i get into tourney fishing.
  7. looks good.... I'll need to be righting up one of those sooner or later... I plan i fishing tourneys come spring time
  8. thats weird.... oh well, welcome to the forum!
  9. fuse ripped senkos back together with a red-hot paper clip. (bend it out, then heat directly on stove top) it works great, and if do it right, you cant even tell the differnce.
  10. i'm thinking of making my own molds. but i have a couple questions.... when you said: "After the mold hardens and dries, remove the form and, for-one part molds, coat the cavity and upper surface with sealer." What do you mean by "sealer"? like the stuff you use to seal ceramics? and is there a store i can get plastic from? i'm guessing it is pricey to ship a gallon of that stuff. Thanks Matt
  11. try a topwater weedless frog, like a Spro Frog. throw it right into the weeds with high LB test, and hand on! if there are bass in there they should chomp it promply.
  12. also, how long will a gallon of the liquid plastic stuff last. (like how many worms can you make with one gallon) that stuff is crazy expesive...
  13. How much money does it cost to start pouring my own plastics? Including molds, plastic stuff, softener, coloring, everything. Also, is there a site where i can get all this stuff at? Thanks Matt
  14. ;D Use ripped senkos as trailers. they work great for adding casting distance.
  15. we have 4 guys standing in a 14ft canoe, and we never flipped. you shouldnt have any problem.
  16. Hey i was looking at you site and you have some great lures, and your prices are very cheap considering the work involved. Im thinking of getting a Model 20 with a Coffen lip that runs 3-5ft, in Black/Chart Stripe (color #11) And i was wondering, how do i order this, and how do i pay? do you just take mastercard over the web or do i have to send you a check or somthing? (i would have PMed you, but i posted it becuase i thought other people would be wondering the same thing) thanks Matt
  17. we should keep track of how many lbs of bass get rubbed on the charm...lol
  18. use $1.75 spinnerbaits instead of $5. lucky strike makes super cheap ones but they work awsome. and if you lose it, who cares? im afread to use some of my $10 lures somtimes....
  19. dude whittler, name your price for that lure, i want it!
  20. it depends on time of year, dawn is cooler and dusk in warmer, and during the fall the fish like warmer.
  21. Well i havn't made many, but here is one my friend bassholebuster14 made: He just took a maple (i think) stick and got the bark of with a knife, then he used a beltsander to make all the egdes smooth and the front round. i think he used a dremmel for the indent on the lower side of it, and he use a dremmel for some of the touch up work too. Then he sanded the extra smooth with sandpaper and started painting.
  22. i can make topwater spook/plug like things.... it isn't that hard. other than that there is Wire baits, which is much different than carving.
  23. I 2nd those rules exept i think there should be no cursing at all.
