Bass Boat Cover for Storm Bass Boat
Hello, I have a 1994 Storm bass boat that I will need a new cover for. Unfortanley I have to store the boat outside so I cover is a necessity. I have a custom canvas cover from 1999 the guy gave me when I bought the boat but after twenty years the cover is starting to wear out and rip. I have asked a friend to sew the cover several times but begins to rip in a new spot, the cover has lasted longer than need be. I was looking into getting a cover recreated or just a new cover made but the prices are ridiculous, $1,200-$3,500. I understand you get what you pay for but the boat is a 1994, a cover shouldn't cost as much as a boat. Do any of you have any recommendations for a cover I can buy at a store? I tried the Cabelas RSS and for $250 it fits awful. Seems like a nice cover but the fit sucks. I really like a cover that goes over the motor and the front pedestal seat to no water can pool in the boat. So do you have any recommendations? Any help would be apricated.

Boat Cover Recommendation
Ok I’ll think about it, does that cover have enough slack on the top so I can put a PVC structure? Also is it big enough to cover the motor? Also do the tie down straps have to go all away around the boat? Thanks

Boat Cover Recommendation
Hello, I have a 1994 Storm bass boat that I have to keep outside. I currently just use a large tarp to cover the boat and that has been working for a while. Lately with all this rain down here in South Florida, I can't seem to keep my boat dry. The tarp is not pitched or anything so the water pools up on it. My thoughts are to purchase a boat cover, universal, and do away with the tarp. Along with a cover, I was thinking to make a PVC structure to keep water from pooling up on the boat. Do you have any recommendations on covers, setups, or anything that will help? Thanks for your time and tight lines

Lake Istokpoga
I'm going to fish there for the first time on Feb 10th and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about how and where to start. Is one area better than another etc? I don't expect your honey holes, just a general idea and any suggestions you can give. Thanks Jack

Lake Okeechobee
Hey guys, I plan on heading out to lake okeechobee this weekend, it's been quite a while since I've been there. Last time out the water was extremely low, I heard it has come up but is it high enough to run Boy Scout cut safely? Also how's the fishing been? Any recommendations? Thanks

Alligator Alley MM35
I went to the alley on Saturday night, it was pretty good actually. The homestead hawg hunters had a tourney going on so there way quite a bit of boats out there. I was catching 2 pounder very frequently and lost 2 nice ones. If I put some more time in I could of put an OK bag. 21 pounds won the tourney, pretty solid

No,I'm going to use 36volts but wanted to test the trolling motor to see if it even works. I'm going to have him test with 36 volts before buying

36v trolling motor on 12v
It's a minn kota maxxum pro 101, so the trolling motor is probably good. The guy said he was running it on 24 volts before so should probably go back and have 2 batteries to test

36v trolling motor on 12v
I was looking at a used minn kota 101 and hooked it up to my car battery to test it and it didn't work. I thought it should spin, not full power but should spin. Does you need the full 36 volts or is the trolling motor not working? Thanks

Trolling motor installation with no acess
Ok, I like the idea of the aces hole, I'm going to look to see if I can do that. If not I want to put a recess tray in, I will have to make a big hole and could use that for my arm to fit in. Thanks for the input. I didn't want to use the rubber things again or drill big holes for toggle bolts. Thanks for your guys help

Trolling motor installation with no acess
I will be mounting a new trolling motor on my bass boat, but I do not have any access for my hand underneath to tighten the bolts. It's a pretty dumb design flaw. I have my old trolling motor mounted with the rubber T bolts that I bought at bass pro, and its been working pretty good, but I read somewhere about stainless steel toggle bolts, would this be a better route? what do you guys think is better. Thanks

Minn kota Fortrex
Hey guys, I'm interested in buying this minnkota Fortrex from a guy. He says that one day his engine broke down so he had to troll all the way in, he got to the ramp pulled the trailer in then tried starting the boat. He then proceeded to put the boat on the trailer and forgot the trolling motor was down. It looks like the bow guard broke off like it is suppose to do, but I'm not to familiar with this. Down below are the pictures he sent me. Is it just the bow guard, or did anything else break? If so how hard is it to fix and how much would it cost? He says everything else is fine but I will check if I go see it. Thanks for the help, tight lines.

Alligator Alley / Holey Lands
Wow, I was at the alley Saturday night and bit was ok. I headed back Sunday morning and the bite was on, catch quality fish on big snakes, total of 8 fish, 1 two pounder, 1 six pounder and the rest in the four pound range. Had a 20 pounds bag by 10:30. Once the sun was up and and becoming very hot to fish the bite shut off and didn't catch anything else.
