I have a MILEE 45 quart that I have been using for the past 2 years. It's a beast and keeps ice as long as I need. It is sturdy as hell too, I use it as a transition step on my boat and it has some heave duty rubber feet that prevents it from sliding at all. Comes with extra features not found on other brands as well. Pre-chill is key with these type of coolers and keeping ice the longest.

THIS. Happened to me twice last summer. Had to pull the whole hose off to get it cleaned out. Now I store the boat with a golf tee in my pee hole.......

I have put my rain jacket and pants from Eddie Bauer to the ringer for the past few years. Both fishing and just being in the outdoors. They pack extremely small and light and are completely waterproof in driving, long lasting, rains. You do not have to spend $3-500 to get 'quality' rain gear, you just have to shop smart.

I watched it and was ticked for JW; they honed right in on "his spot" and I just found it very un-sportsman like. But I guess if it's not against the rules and the lure of money is strong enough people set aside their values.

I am missing the NY fishing, been slammed with work this Spring and haven't been able to get up to NY as much as I normally do. I did dust off the boat finally and went out Thursday in pursuit of Snakeheads in VA. This is the first time out trying to get them and they were definitely active! We couldn't get them to bite; I think it was a combo of my fist time after them and not having the right bait. They are something to see/hear when they move through the lily pads; they sound like a person walking in the water. So crazy and I can't wait to hook onto one, and eat it! Here are few we did catch, nothing crazy but we got a few.

I have broken two, one got wedged in a boat cleat and the other 'someone' closed the door on the tip when bringing them in the house.

Agree with @TOXIC leave the bottoms open and use staples. I just had to redo a bunk that got stripped out; I just fold the ends like wrapping a xmas gift.

Made a short and busy trip up to NY. I got out on Friday from about 1-6 and got hammered. Nothing was working for me; docks, ned on the outside weed bed, frogging, wood, weeds, you name it. So I dropped the rods and me and my sons went swimming! Also seemed like everyone pulling a tube that day decided to see how close they could tow to the shoreline. I usually don't get bothered but they were throwing massive wakes and beating up everyone's docks, and very close. Guess if I pull my kids in any type of inflatable, I want to be as far away from anyone else, but not on Friday they were getting crazy close with their kids.

From a hunting/outdoors standpoint, I think it is the best outdoor invention in the last 10 years. It is invaluable for early season hunting. If you have ever been on a spring bear hunt in NB, Canada you can attest to its worth on black flies as well. I found it works on the boat the same as it does on the patio or in a tree, if there is wind it doesn't work, but if it is windy usually the skeeters aren't there either.

Strike King here. I have had the same pair for 2 season so far and they held up great and are very clear. I had a nice pair of Costas (in my pic <-- that someone left in a rental car).
