Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
I need to get a cover for my BR. I saw a couple on amazon and Bass Pro. They seemed like they were all the same covers. All in the $40 to $50 range. Are these things any good? Alternatives? I"m sick of asking the wife to come out and help me flip it over everytime its about to rain, Another thing, about Installing a drain plug in the rear. I'm not crazy about drilling into this thing but it really needs it. Anyone try this? @pointhunter Yeah, when I got mine home and followed the drainage routes on the top half, I was like, HUH? I don't understand? half of them go back into the boat!

It's not that bad to cross the area where the golfers have to shoot over the water. Its a par 3, so after a foursome tees off you have plenty of time to cross before the next foursome is up at the tee.

South Jersey Bass Fishing
I'll be heading out to Wells Mills again as long as I can build a decent dolly for my Bass Raider. I'm a big dude so I much rather use that boat alone. The one I built last week busted right as I got to the water. I fished, then dealt with getting it back in my truck. I lucked out because a nice guy and his daughter offered to help. Helpful hint: Threaded rod from Home Depot make lousy axles. I'm going with some 5/8 stainless rod this try. we're looking at 72 and sunny for tomorrow.

It's supposed to be nice this weekend. Will the recent cold snap screw things up?

I went out to scout a 80 acre lake near me in Forked River. I wanted to see if it was possible to launch my Bass Raider there. While I was there I tossed a green pumpkin Senko around and caught a nice pound and a halfer. Guess where I'll be tomorrow?

IDK, it's definitely too high for me I'm all torso I guess. If I sit up against the backrest the seat digs into my thighs. With the 4" I should be flat footed on the floor, knees up slightly. It will be much more comfortable

I just put in a floor and carpet. Inside dimensions are 103"X 26". I bought mine at Dick's on sale for $599 plus another 10% off for applying for a Dick's credit card. Not bad.

Just bought myself a brand new Raider 10E I paired it with a Minn Kota DuraMax 45. I had it out once so far, I thought it was kind of "tippy" with 2 people. I bought a 7" pedestal to raise the seat (I'm 6'3") 7" was too much as I was on my tip toes, this could have added to that tippy feeling. I'm having a 4" riser custom made. I'll be taking it out alone this weekend weather permitting.

Are you talking about the lake on the golf course in Manahawkin? If so, it's tough to get a boat in there now. The one access spot I know as a load of loose sand recently dumped I believe. I was thinking about launching on the park side of the lake. I would have to lift over a small 2 ft high fence to do that. Not impossible. I went there with my bro in law a couple of years back and did well
