My fish catching machine ?

I've never fished the Villages but if you are fishing in South Florida means weeds and grass weighted trig worm can't go wrong.

I was at Dicks sporting goods last night shopping for a Christmas present for my fishing partner and came across the Field and Stream Angler series spinning combo and was impressed with how it felt so I went ahead and got it for him I was wondering if any members on here own one and what there thoughts of it was? Thanks guys for all the feed back my partner is a little skittish about going out there with such a small boat but I told him guys aren't gonna blow by us and we got a 55lb trolling motor and big Ole optima gel battery, if we go in flats do we need to put a flag on Jon boat with a pole or is that just for Jon boat rentals?? I got a 10ft Jon boat with a 55lb trolling motor and optima gel battery wanted to know if it would be safe to take it out to places like holiday park, Sawgrass recreation, US 27 or Loxachee? My buddy and I been just using it fishing neighborhood canals with it.He thinks the big boatd are gonna tip us over lol!!! Thanks guys!!!

Last few months in west browsed haven't been getting any snake head bites anyone else noticing this?

Same here I use to buy expensive sb but started catching alot of snake heads on them so I switched to the walmart $1 sb and still catch a lot of bass with them.One good size snake head will destroy the $1 sb but bass on avg I can get about 6-8 bass on $1 sb I love them!!! $1 sb yesterday had a few like this one yesterday

How accurate do you think these solunar tables are?

We use gambler ez swimmer swimbait in June bug color with 4/0 hook and have good results.

Great trip caught alot of fish big fish 3.5lbs used spinnerbait on black max I was very pleased with it no issues to report most of my fish were caught on sb highly recommend black max combo can't beat it for the price not sure what the longevity of the reel will be I will find out though

I've fished on big lakes in big boats and I love fishing canals in my jon boat

Frogs are great bait to throw on top of vegetation make sure u got braid line on they will wrap up in the cabbage fun bait to catch fish on!!!

Walmart has these $1 spinnerbaits that ain't bad I use them all the time cause snakeheads trash lures I'll get about 4 snakeheads per spinner bait my favorite spinnerbait color is white with willow leaf Colorado blade combo

Try to find canals with good structure,vegetation and clear water can't go wrong

Try a spinnerbait covers alot of water and has alot of action and attracts alot of different species ie monster snakeheads

Just curious what you guy are using this time of year in your local canals?I been using spinnerbaits,top water chuggers and worms Texas rigged.My buddy has been killing them with Senkos Texas rigged.

When it's cold they don't eat.When it's warm holy cow wr catch slot of them in broward county canals they r a fun fight but they do mess up lures.
