  1. I think on the fall means as the bait if falling to the bottom. Whether it be on the initial cast or after you pull it a couple of times. That is when you will get 95% of your Senko bites, because when the bait is falling it makes a side to side "wobble", that is if you're rigging it weightless.
  2. Drag a rig around and find some of those brushpiles.
  3. With all the angling pressure and high tech electronics, I'd say there aren't many (secret) brushpiles for long.
  4. Yeah, where do you live?
  5. Work a shakey head with a tube off of the steep banks and points.
  6. Fish Chris will be with you shortly.
  7. Let it hit the bottom, give it a quick hop, let it come back down.- repeat Seems like the best way to do it for me. :-?
  8. The bigger the better, as far as bass fishing goes. I'm like Plastik though, I love those backwood streams.
  9. Nice catch man. I'm sorry to see that you're a state fan. No, jusk kidding, I think we should team up and just hate Duke. GO HEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Without a depthfinder, you are limited to where you can fish(deep). The best thing to do is look at bank contour. Obviously points, and steep banks. Just by looking at the bank, you can get a pretty good idea of what's below you. Or you use the poor man's depthfinder- Carolina rig.
  11. 22.4 > 22.1 I feel I have to take up for the South.
  12. If you've got about 270 dollars you can't go wrong with the Chronarch man. Wow...... Loomis 803 and a brand new Chronarch, that would be a heluva combo. I think i'll go buy one. ;D
  13. They ain't got it under their arm ;D
  14. Probably small fish, but hey, jerkin's free.
  15. Did you know that some gamewardens police forums. Not to long ago, a guy on another forum was busted for a pictue that displayed to many ducks. Of course the guys asking more questions on how many hunters, and did you know you guys where over the legal limits and of course he said yes and was soon busted at his house. Becareful of what you post. And this isn't condoning what you did, just think about what you say. Matt. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am careful of what I post. If I would have posted where I caught the fish, my name, where I live, and the date of when I caught the fish, there might be a chance I could get in any serious trouble. If they could examine my two 28 inchers on the wall and determine that they came from posted water, then they're dam good and I'll just turn myself in. ;D
  16. Question one- Couldn't have hurt anything to throw at it, that's kinda a reflex for me. Question two- It would definitely help to know the size of the baitfish they were feeding on. I've been in situations where they wouldn't touch a big fluke, but would tear a super fluke jr. up.
  17. Posted by: roadwarrior Posted on: Today at 9:12pm If I don't catch a bass over 5 lbs, I feel like I have been skunked. It happens quite often. Talk about settin' the bar high eh? ;D
  18. Winter is my favorite time to bass fish, that is, just fishing. Now bedfishing in April is a different story. The fish aren't pressured as much, and you also have a chance at catching bigger fish. Buy a Lucky Craft Pointer 78 in Chartruese shad color and just work it R E E A L S L O W, you will have fun.
  19. This involves just about every aspect of bass fishing. It's one of those "Well it all depends"
  20. N. Carolina mountains, bass fish all over the state. My second favorite fishing is speck fishing way up in those cold mountain creeks.
  21. Yeah the north is getting a massive heat wave right now. Glad i'm not a yankee.
  22. Definitely a spring or trapped gasses then.
  23. Fathers day weekend 2004 I took my buddy and his dad pond fishing in Southern Iowa. Between Saturday and half the day Sunday we caught 90 bass over 3 lbs. Of those there were 9 fish over 5 lbs, and everyone caught a bass bigger than 6lbs. The best of the weekend was a 8 lb 1 oz bass my buddy caught that I got wet landing. It was an amazing weekend and all we were doing was pitching spinnerbaits into holes in the weeds. The weird thing was 50 of the 3+lb fish were out of one pond. Corey _____________________________________________________________________________________ .............wow. Bill Dance ain't got s##t on you man.
  24. 72 Largemouth, 1 over five lbs., a few studs, 3-4 lbs. C'riggin. Troutfisher don't mean to steal your thunder but I once brought home eight trout over twenty five inches, no kidding. But yeah, what I was doing was highly, highly, highly illegal. ;D All native browns. On the fly. Yeah it was nice.
  25. I broke off my best spinnerbait on a pond fish one day, came back a couple days later and caught the same fish on a jerkbait, got my lucky blade back. I've had the same thing happen numerous times with worm hooks, but catching that fish with my blade still in his mouth proves that a fish will eat so long as he can open his mouth.
