I was a huge megabass pop max lover but was in a pinch when I forgot my top water box at home instead of the boat so grabbed a few rebel magnum pop r's and actually prefer them. Out of the 5 I bought ( same price as one pop max ) 2 came with decently sharp trebles. Either way I want to upgrade to some better hooks and was wondering what you guys prefer?

Well today I was flipping and set the hook on a hog and tore off the Eva foam grip so I super glued the foam back on and now the foam doesn't spin properly. Well it happened again later in the day when I set the hook on what would've been my PB but he shook off because I couldn't reel properly. Can I just buy any replacement handle and put it on or do I need a whole new reel?

Just wondering if anyone around Davenport fishes any tournaments around here? just bought a new boat but don't have any buddies that like to fish haha.

It wasn't matted grass or weeds it was more a thick moss type of deal. Can't think of what it's exactly called. Looks like swamp. Light green colored circular beads that leave no surface holes just a huge covering of muck. That's why I didn't even pitch a senko or any craw after the smack i would need about a 3/4 tungsten to get through.

There is some pike in the lake so that could be the case.

I got the rod last year and don't have the receipt and I highly doubt gander would do anything about it. Not a fan of gander but I did get it there when they were on sale. Well I Snapped off about 4 inches on my 7'3 *** today laying the smack down on a fish that was deep in a laydown and don't want to send it in because of shipping and don't want to throw it away. How to fix it?

Today was one of those days the bass wouldn't eat the frog just blow up and slap it. I probably had about 12 blows up on the frog today in about two hour window and only 3 of those actually ate it. Why do they just smack it without really sucking it up? I went from a spro bronze eye to a spro popping frog to a spro gliding frog and switching colors and have fast I popped or walked the frog and couldn't get them to inhale it to save my life. I had an absolute donkey blow up on it too about 4 times haha.

When you can bundle them for 99 dollars with a unit then of course

Just got my first boat and got two of these units, one with navionics. How do you run your settings on your sonar and down imaging? Don't have any experience with these and wanted to get some outlook from you experienced folks.

It ended up being a fuse that wasn't labeled trailer in my truck. It was vehicle park and didn't even think of checking that one out. It's all fixed now and she loves the water.

checked the pins and looked alright. Didn't notice any loose wires running from trailer back. I might have to just take it somewhere and let them fix the running lights.

I got everything working besides the running lights. Brake lights, turn signals works just not the running lights. Any ideas? I checked ground and seemed corroded so I cut back and filed the trailer and the washing looking thing and nothing. All fuses good.

Yeah i got a spare 4 pin I might rewire and see what's going on.

I tested my 4 pin to my truck and everything checked out so it must be the lights of the boat.

Thats what I'm not sure of. I am going to have a buddy bring his truck over and hook up and see what is the cause. I will double check the ground first tomorrow and see if thats the culprit. theres plenty of those here in davenport so I am going to run to one tomorrow if a guy at work doesn't have one. I might just get one just incase.

No the ball isn't rusty at all. I actually took some compound and got 95% of the rust off. That was about 4 or 5 days ago.

Okay sounds good I'm going to test them tomorrow. If they're all wrapped up do I need to unwrap the wires or can I just go ahead and test the 4 pin? Sorry if that's dumb I know nothing about electrical.

Hello everyone, I don't have a single light functioning when hooked up to my truck. Its a 4 pin to 4 pin. I haven't checked my fuse box yet nor my wires since I don't have to tools to test the wires and its dark outside so don't want to end up dropping a fuse. Has anyone had this happen before? Id rather try and troubleshoot the most common issue instead of wasting time jumping back and forth. Any advice appreciated. Take a look at the new rig while you're here.

The only reason I lean more towards the stratos is because it's my girlfriends dads co worker and I could get it for less

Hey guys I was wondering out of these two boats what your opinions are. The first is 1992 stratos and the second a 04 nitro. I mainly plan on just fishing local lakes but I do fish backwaters of the Mississippi a lot and do like to fish tournaments.
