Fortunately Seibert jigs are so well priced you don't have to settle on one or two colors.I have a watermelon red that is a work of art and a custom bloody shad that is killer.All thr colors mentioned are great.

As stated above, swim jig, frog also t rig or superfluke.Maybe a jitterbug.Practice with weedless rubber you'll get the hang of it.Good luck.

The shock has good backbone and a soft tip .It works well setting a single hook and trebles.

Boo jigs are pretty good when you can get them@3bucks a pop.I have a few, good hook and decent rattles.Yum craw chunks work well as a trailer.

Imho, smaller bass blowup on frogs and miss.Bigguns suck iit under with very little commotion. Last one I hooked, the frog just disappeared and I set the hook on a nice 6lber.

As stated above darker colors will contrast better in stained water.You can also use baits that cause some vibration, spinnerbait with a Colorado Blade or bladed jigs.
