I have a tournament on lake winnipesaukee this upcoming sunday. Has anybody fished it lately? Do you have any tips?

I just bought a skeeter and I'm having trouble covering it. I live on a lake and the boat will say in the water for 3.5 seasons. As of right now, I can't find a cover that has holes for dock lines. I need a cover that will also not blow off when the wind blows. Does anybody know of a cover that has holes for boat lines?

What is the best overall jig trailer size? I am going to be placing a big order of jig trailers. I can choose from the size 2.75 or 3.5. They are chunks that can't be bit off a lot. What should I get?

What is the best skipping jig? I used the Strike King Structure Jig which skips very well but the hookup ratios are terrible (And I snapped it off). What jigs do you use to skip?

I'm going to get a G Loomis Imx rod for a jig rod. Should I get a rod with Heavy stiffness or Extra-Heavy?

Should I be tieing my braid directly to topwater lures?

Yeah, its all dialed in, but it just wont cast very far.

I have had my abu garcia revo rocket for a while now. Since the beginning, I have noticed a problem with it's casting. It just doesn't cast as far as my other reels. Anyone else experienced this? If anyone has any suggestions to fix it, please let me know.

My friend has a hydrowave in which he uses mostly on his home pond. The pond has alewife in it and he is not sure what setting to use for the alewife. His model hydrowave has 4 different sounds for shad and 2 sounds for shiners. What sounds should he use for alewife, shad or shiners? Thanks

Try using a moving bait like a crankbait, swimbait, or possibly a spinnerbait. You might be able to get a reaction bite.

Thats exactly what I would use.

A bait the common angler doesn't throw a lot is a big 7-12 inch ribbontail worm t-rigged with a free weight. I have been fishing that on a couple pressured lakes around my house and it has worked greatly.
