I would try a dropshot off the steeper walls. You might be able to catch a few like that. Also, try a neko rig around the piles and boat. If they don't work, try a senko, jig, or a chatter bait.

A few years ago, I got my first baitcaster. I used it for jigging. Now, it is starting to not cast as far and reel as fast. I am going to buy a new reel for jigging to replace my old one. Any suggestions on reels that I should buy. (I kind of want to keep the price below $225.) Thanks

I love to fish dropshot. It has been the most successful method for me for going for deep water bass. You really need to study your electronics and maps to find drop offs and points.
