  1. Yea they sure are a pretty penny!
  2. I’ve seen a few posts from almost a year ago but nothing with much info...Has anyone used the Divine or Lux Rod from 6th Sense? I want to try a Divine but I’m looking for a few opinions. Nothing is really on YouTube except 1 or 2 for the Lux. Thanks in advance!
  3. Yea I’d like to see that. Great idea and thanks for reaching out!
  4. I appreciate the response. Then that would would go right next to it eh I appreciate your feedback. Thanks for reaching out. thanks for the reply, i appreciate it. No line on the reel, i noodled it. Thanks for your response though.
  5. Is it possible to get a replica made off of pictures? I only got 2 and wanted to put her back quickly and now I’m regretting it. 6lbs 2oz. I wish I would have gotten the length and girth but didn’t. I think a lot of you have been around the block to give me a good idea, I appreciate any feedback!
  6. I spent a weekend out there last week. Didn’t have to much luck with big bass although I caught a lot of small (12-13 inch) ones. I was having some luck with flukes around the rocks and shakey heads under docks. Like I said though, didn’t have a keeper all day.

  8. Just looking to see if there's anyone with some more info on anywhere to really fish around the Fort Benning area. I'm currently a Drill Sergeant so I don't have too much time so when I actually get to go out I like to try something other then the ponds on post. I currently bank fish, planning on getting a boat just not in the hand I was dealt right now. I was going to try joining the Benning Bass Club but after going to a meeting and seeing all the great sportsmanship and willingness to help out, it didn't feel right to join with little time in my schedule, I wouldn't have been to fufill my end of the bargain to give back to the club. So if anyone has any places other than on post (Twlight and Kings) and Coopers Creek that you can fish on the bank give me a holler, if not thanks for reading and have a good one.
  9. I cut mostly everything that has a skirt to about a 1/4 inch past the hook or even with the hook. Since I have started that I've seen an increase in fish, not size, but fish. This is just all my opinion of course but I think if you keep them as is out of the box the skirt tends to just stick together and not flair out as much as it could for my liking, especially when you stall or twitch. The way I found out how much I wanted to cut was to fill up the kitchen sink or bathtub (pool preferably) and do your cutting and test it out in that clear water to see how it looks then go from there. Good Luck
  10. Just snagged a Shimano Saros for $100.00, can't wait to use it.
  11. I sure do like the action but I can't find an luck setting the hook with them! I rarely go to Dicks but they had a good deal going on, buy one get one free Livetarget Frogs and other lures
  12. Thanks again, I'm going to look into those now...good thing I dont have to wake up for work in 4 hours. ?
  13. Thanks, Darren. I've always used Shimano castings reels and that's what I was leaning towards but I'm not too knowledgable on what ratios are best for that specific type of fishing. Thank you too, Jeff. Ive read some good reviews so far.
  14. Just wanted to hear some feedback on some decent spinning reels under $120. I'm looking to use it for drop shots and finesse fishing. It would be on a 6'10 ML/XF rod. Also what are some suggestions for line? I was thinking 8-10 lb fluorocarbon? Thanks in advance for the advice and suggestions.
  15. kings I've had no luck on and twilight has signs that say no fishing. Victory pond doesn't look too promising...looking like I need to stop slacking and get a john boat or something
  16. Yes buzz I'm a Drill Sergeant here on Fort Benning
