@Catt when do the fish usually push back in the creeks for some good flippin buck brush and punchin grass/mats

Yes sir probably around 745 after i drop the kiddos off at daycare and make the journy down from ft polk Lol ya im stationed at ft polk and usually fish ponds on post and toledo and sabine river. Never fishes calcasieu or lacassine

Ive only looked at the generic map so far from the fish and wildlife site. Havent really found any good maps yet. Also havent quite mastered what to look at on these maps yet

Dang those some nice fish. Id say it looks like its well worth the drive. Im thinking the first trip i make will be to unit d. Or is there other units you recommend @Catt? Also i have a punching rod, froggin rod, topwater rod, jig rod, worm rod, spinnerbait/chaterbait rod, crankin stick and spinning rod. Which to take or leave at home?
