I use casting rods only, and I only do topwater, and soft plastics/w texas rig. What is the recommended grip for a casting rod for the types of fishing I do? ~Tom

I have a nick name Topwater Tom, I love Topwater! Forgot to mention the rod has to be great with Topwater Lures, and I am very "Brand Specific" So it cant be a competitor of SHIMANO like(Ex. Diawa, Abu Garcia, Quantum, Lews)

I fish at a small pond that is about the size of a pond you would see along the side of a road. (The pond is private) Had lots of luck on Soft Plastics, Topwater, and Crankbaits at any depth/size. But bites have slowed down when the fountain turns on, Why is this? The property owner says that the bass like the fountain. The fountain does not spray like a mist very high up like others, this one gushes the water like a flooded storm drain. I have tried fishing the fountain a lot of times but nothing is working. What should I through? What tricks/techniques I should use when fishing the fountain. It is in Delaware, Yes Largemouth Bass, We do release, the biggest bass in the lake is 4lbs.... Average is 2-3lbs. Baitcasting Rod and Reel, 30lb test braid mostly with a fluorocarbon leader with a sub-surface lures. They like Crankbaits in any depth, color, action, and sound. Any type of soft plastics, and topwater lures.

The bass just had the slow biting basically, never been a kill off, I just want to know were to go in the pond, and best rigs/lures type.

Hello I'm Tom, I fish very often in a small 20 acre lake. The bass in there are catchable, but for some reason have not been biting that much...We used to pull out 30 bass per-person, but now 30-ish is the grand total. The bass used to be ALWAYS shallow but now they are scattered. Where is the best location in a lake this small? Also what is the best lures/rigs.
