  1. i'm waiting for my last package to come in so i can show you guys my new swimbait collection and everything i picked up in the last couple weeks
  2. ya that definitely makes sense i can see why it would be an issue
  3. why no trebles at night? is it a safety policy or because you think it might be hard to get the fish unhooked?
  4. the hardest part can be finding out what the fish want to eat the most fun part is setting up your rods the night before you go out
  5. 10" ribbon tail
  6. one thing i have figured out is if the water is clear or if it is highly pressured it's better to have a bait without a skirt it seems to work a little better for me at least
  7. a 1/2oz blue bug siebert outdoors dredge brush jig with a blue bug rage craw trailer or a 1/2oz bluegill siebert outdoors fogy (chatterbait) with a bluegill bass pro speed shad
  8. indeed there are good thinking friend just can't really throw 6" swimbaits
  9. unless i'm reading it wrong then that's correct
  10. ya basically that's what it is but in the lake i mainly fish there are only bass so i pretty much can't fish there until june
  11. well i'm jealous of all of you. now i'll just sit here and wait for june
  12. oh ya i know i could also use a football jig as for the texas rig it's more so not wanting to lose tungsten
  13. lure selection i need to actually think about what i'm throwing and not be lazy about retying
  14. mainly use a rage craw and chigger craw not a huge fan of chunks but i don't think i've given them enough time either.
  15. only problem is it's all small rock so i would have to throw a crank or maybe a top hook swimbait
  16. i wish they would do that up here i think they only reason they do it is so people aren't keeping spawning fish
  17. ok so since i can't fish i'm obviously extremely jealous of those of you in Florida and Texas and any place that can still fish. it got me thinking how long is everyones legal fishing season? in ontario where i fish bass season opens the 4th saturday in june and closes november 30th so i really only have summer and winter patterns since ice out is normally the middle of march or april i'm sure they are spawned a long time before the end of june. anyway what about you guys when does your season legally open and close?
  18. i got one in last months mtb it looks amazing but it wont be used until the spring
  19. i guess i just don't know enough about them
  20. i would think the mega strike shakey head jig would be good it will stand up on it's own and a shakey head is a similar presentation
  21. i throw mine on a mh/f bass pro graphite series it acts more like a mh/mf it seems to have just enough power to set the hook as i want i have a mh veritas though i haven't thrown chatterbaits on it i feel the hook set would be to quick for a chatterbait
  22. texas rigged Yamamoto flappin hog in black and blue
  23. Scarborough817 replied to Catt's topic in Fishing Tackle
the only downside i see is that you can't snell the hook
  24. i leave mine stock never had any issues with hook ups plus i find it attracts the bigger girls if you leave a big hairy skirt
