  1. Thanks for the replies, guess I'll stop over thinking it and try to slow down on those days.
  2. I have grubs that I rarely fish as well, but after reading some of these comments I will be using them my next time out.
  3. I use a regular jansport backpack from walmart, fits 4 3600s fine with plenty of room for more, had it for 3 years already. Just wish it had more pockets for other things. The okuma backpack looks good though.
  4. I use whatever I can find at garage sales and flea markets, mostly 3600, and 3500 size. Take what I need in a backpack for the day.

  8. Thanks for the link, I'll definitely try that
  9. Will the o rings I use on yum dingers not work as good? I'll check on the heat shrink tubing.
  10. Yea I've heard they don't hold up well, figured a $1 a bag I might as well try them for myself.
  11. If I hate them at least I didn't pay retail price. If I love them I could deal with retail price, we'll just have to see.
  12. Me and my wife are considering kayaks, less maintenance and still put us on the water, I get mad when I have to fix the car, if my boat broke I'd lose my mind.
  13. Iv always used yum dingers because of the price but over the weekend I went to the flea market and found bags of senkos for a $1 a bag, along with some other brands, so let's see what all the fuss is about. I'll try them next time I go out.
  14. Went fishing this morning, no bites, nothing jumping, no topwater action, like there's no fish, last night was a new moon, last week we had a cold front, but we're in the 90s again, any information would be helpful so I can figure out when to go fishing again.

  17. I prefer chatterbaits, I rarely use buzzbaits and spinnerbaits.
  18. I put split rings on all of my top water baits. Hasn't affected them enough to make me change it.
  19. I'll have to give them a try
  20. I got a couple slush daddy's to try, I like the h2o express baits so I figured they would be good, haven't got to try them yet.
  21. Looking for suggestions for prop baits, most of them are over $15, besides the heddon torpedo Iv only found the H2O express slush daddy. Why so few budget options with prop baits?
  22. I use to, grew up doing it cause my grandfather did. Don't know when I stopped, just started using other products instead.
  23. Caught most fish on poppers and crankbaits, caught biggest fish on chatterbait and t-rig worm.
  24. Iv been using bobber stops but have heard the t stops are good, so I may try them next.
  25. In my fishing spots live bait will only catch me turtles, there's to many of them for me to catch any fish, turtles eat the bait within 2 minutes of it being out.
