I haven't got a chance to try them personally but I was considering them based on all the good reviews iv seen about them. I have a Berkley lightning shock and love it, the reviews for the emotion are better than the shock so I would give it a try. But if your shopping at academy I hear thier h2o ethos is a great rod too.

I like topwater and weightless plastics on my 6'6 medium lightning shock and Mitchell 300pro.

I use rattles in stained water and silent bait fish colors in cleaner water.

I don't change to much, I'll wait for the stock hooks to bend or break and then replace them with the same size, I do prefer short shank on some of my cranks and topwater lures though.

I'll always take 2 of everything, since my wife fishes with me I have to buy 2 of everything anyway.
