  20. Here is the story on this BIG GURL!! I work in the furniture industry and our work has slowed a little. I usually have to work every Friday, but our boss told us yesterday, that we would have to be off Today(Friday). Man, I am glad that we were off of work Today. Started out fishing a few ledges, without much luck. So I started tracking some shad about midways back of a creek channel, I knew the bass weren’t far away. I work the channels with a rattlebait and a crankbait, without any luck. I noticed on the graph, that the bass were holding pretty tight to the creekchannel edges. So I thought for a second, The Ole Ball & Chain!! I broke out the c-rig and slowly worked the channels, back towards the shad, with a Powerbait worm. Made it back to within 10 yards of where the shad were holding. And all of a sudden, SET THE HOOK , on what I new was a MONSTER BASS. Played her for a little while, to try to tire her out a little, before she saw the boat. When she finally broke the surface, I knew I had broke my old record of 10 lbs 5oz!! She weighed in at a whopping 11 lbs 13 oz!! A Beatiful bass she was indeed. Took a few pics and released the BIG GURL to get even BIGGER!! I had the chance to take a friend with me from our work with me. He doesnt own a boat and only gets to go fishing every now and then. We both landed a few nice bass, along with my new PB. We had an awesome day and glad we had the day off. Here is a few pics: 11 lbs 13oz 11 lbs 13oz 5 lber My friends bass: 5 lbs 4 1/2 lbs
