2022 Mercury 115 Pro XS oil question
Tom this is not straight synthetic. It is a synthetic blend. Owner’s manual says for general all temperature use, use Mercury or Quick Silver 10w30 or Mercury/Quick Silver 25w40 synthetic blend. Doesn’t say anything about 10w30 synthetic blend.

2022 Mercury 115 Pro XS oil question
I have a 2022 Mercury 115 Pro XS I have been running Quick Silver 10w30 oil in. I bought Quick Silver synthetic blend 10w30 by mistake. If I run this oil in it this year will it hurt the motor to go back to regular Quick Silver 10w30 next year? The filter is changed every time I change the oil. Thanks.

fish finders
I am in the process of replacing the depth finder on the console of my R 71 Ranger bass boat. I am looking at the Lowrance Hook 7 Combo HDI NAV+ or the Hummingbird Helix 7 Chirp DI GPS G2. I would like info from anyone that has used either one. I have not used any Hummingbird products over the year, always a Lowrance guy. I have heard that lowrance has had problems with the processers on their units being slow. Do not know for sure if this is true. Also I want to be able to use a thru hull transducer. I do not tournament fish, but I do fish 2 to 5 times per week. Fish mostly on tidal rivers with a few lakes thrown in in the spring and fall. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Where To Find 5" Kut Tail Worms (Black W/ Blue Flake)
Does anyone know where I can order Yamamoto 5" Kut Tail worms in Black with Blue flake? Called Yamamoto and they have quit making the 5" in this color. This has been my go to worm for years. I did find them at Outlet Bait and Tackle but I cannot find a phone number for them. I do not put my credit card info. online for any reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Slow Flaring Jig Skirts
What type of material makes for a slow flaring jig skirt? I just started pouring my on jigs and am having good luck with the largemouth, but the smallmouth don't care for them. Fished with a friend last Friday and he caught 7 to my 2. We were both fishing black jigs and I was fishing in front of him in the same boat. We both had on the same trailers. The only differences we could see was the rate at which the skirts flared. Both skirts were cut to the same length with the same number of strands (37) . The fall rate was the same. The skirts I am using are pre-made and are made from silicone. The package his jig came in said the skirt was also made of silicone. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
