Im looking for a long distance caster. Not to into the 8:1 gear ratio of the Exsence, does it come in different ratio? What else is out there for the best long distance? Where can i look at like a line up on these reels, so hard to find and research. Thanks

In the market for a dc reel. What is the best one out there today? Or some good ones, maybe a go to legend that has been proven over time.. I know pretty much nothing about them other than they sound cool as hell and I want one.

I primarily fish Shimano's, and never had a 300 size reel. But I am looking for a reel with a large spool capacity. Would prefer a 200 size reel. I guess what I'm asking is what reels do you guys suggest for cranking and or what are the largest spool capacities out there in a standard 200 size reel. Im looking at Lews BB2 Pro Wide Speed Spool.

interesting this body of water where i caught this fish has very very little fishing pressure, actually "illegal" to fish there and its super clean natural lake. only pollution i could see would be from bird crap lol thanks for the comment

Anybody ever seen these spots on a bass before? My first time seeing it. Was a healthy good fighting fish so I'm just guessing they are birthmarks or something. Anybody know what causes it or what it is? Thanks..

Yes I was interested until I saw the price I would be happy with the Factory Shimano Metanium XG handle but I don't know where to buy it nor if it will for the core 50

In the market for an aftermarket handle for my Shimano core 50mg. It's to short for my liking, I want something with more "winchablity" more power for hauling the big girls outta bed. Wondering if any of you have used any good brands, lengths, where to buy.. I obviously don't want any junk, so I figured I'd ask before purchasing. Thanks!
