The Tatula has a smaller washer because Daiwa felt like being cheap.

Does anyone happen to know the diameter of the felt drag washer that is located underneath the main gear in this reel? I am looking to replace this with Carbontex from smoothdrag but have had trouble ordering from them because I keep getting the Tatula size from them. I would check myself but won't have my reel with me til the weekend and would like to clear things up before then.

Don't mean to steal the topic, but any ideas on how I could go about painting the side plates on my Aby C4?

The Type R. My Zillion TWS is great but honestly the Tatula can cast just as far. I'd look at the Type R or Tactical since they both have the lighter spools over the standard model.

For distance I've found that my reels with TWS can absolutely launch baits.

After reading the title and seeing the first post I can honestly say that gave me a good laugh

Does anyone have one of these yet?? If so, pics or a little insight would be great I've been itching to hear about this reel but can't find a lot on it at the moment.

Calcutta D all the way. The design it gives palms the hand great and as far as performance well... Its made in Japan

Thanks for correcting me. I was referring to the red spool tension knob.

I've been seeking a replacement for the tiny red spool tension knob that comes with this reel, it's hard to turn and too small. I've looked on hedgehog studio for a replacement but the knobs they have won't fit due to the zaion drag star on this reel. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement?
