  1. It really depends I think on what the fish want. I like to throw bone for top water and then natural colors on the bottom. If you haven't tried bone then I suggest giving it a shot. Also a fire tiger heddon tiny torpedo works good too.
  2. I don't normally fish clear water, but the times that I have I like to use translucent baits, with very little little color. Because the water is so clear you don't want to overwhelm the fish with a bright flashy color
  3. For me I fish year round for creek smallies and I found that white and natural colors both work, I would say I have more luck on a orange and black craw then anything. Smallies are aggressive so anything on there bed should work.
  4. If u by chance have a GoPro with a waterproof houseing on it, what I would do is tie something to the GoPro and lower it down and find exactly where it is. Then I would get a sticky plate or something and try to stick it. Good luck man
  5. Ok cool thanks!!! I'm in the St. Louis area of Missouri
  6. So I am trying to get a bass fishing club/team started at a highschool, but I don't know really how I should start. Any tips on who I need to contact or any specific info I need?

  8. Probably Greg Hackney, b/c he has such a great understanding of jig fishing and such and I would really like to learn from a pro.
  9. You should man they are an awesome company and make some great jerkbaits.
  10. Topwater is my favorite busy far. I love watching. Them explode on a little tiny torpedo
  11. I normally use slider jig heads. There work good with it
  12. It's really worth it especially in the spring/summer. I'll be going for sure. But I normally throw a black slider worm. You can get them at bass pro shops. There really catch a lot of fish. I normally get the 4inch ones
  13. Also I like to use black slider worms. You can get them at bass pro shops and the smallies love them
  14. Hey so I know what your saying. It's the same for me. No boat. But there is this place called Angler in Union MO and the borbouse river run on it and I've caught huge smallies there included rock bass and largemouth. You have to pay a small fee and become a member to fish there but it's really worth it. My buddies and I go a lot and we catch tons or bass.
  15. I really like colors that are junebug and chartruese. I'm only 15 but I've fished a lot and I catch a lot on that color. More than any other
  16. I've used trout magnets once but I only caught acoue on them but the best thing to use is the 1/8 ounce white rooster tail with a silver blade.
