Monofilament Vs Copoly
I recently bought some yo zuri, it was pretty stretchy I was kind of surprised. It was 6#, is that normal? Does it get better the higher the test?

Question For The Daiwa Folks..
TW has exclusive Daiwa DX rods that looked pretty interesting. I like the cork handles and how they look. I was looking at the 7’6/8 models in particular for deep cranking. Has anyone heard about them or used them at all? Any other options around the $150 mark you’d recommend for deep cranks? http://www.***.com/Daiwa_DX-Bass_Crankbait_Casting_Rods/descpage-DXCCR.html

I really like those TCS reels, I have the the 6.6:1 and the 7.3:1. Can cast an Xcalibur one knocker forever.

Finesse Fishing From Banks???
Grab a few different colored Senkos and go to town. Besides a lipless crank my second biggest producers is probably a wacky rigged senko on light line. I also fish from shore.

Xcalibur Lipless Cranks, After Booyah
I was waiting to see how the new ones are. I'm glad I stocked up. If you look hard enough you can still find them online. Over the last couple weeks I bought a pair of sexy shad, Rayburn red, chrome, and gold.

Which Route Do I Go?
Hey, I just read your review of the Okuma tcs MH/MF 6'9. I just ordered it actually. You said it handles jerk baits fine, I would be using McSticks. Hopefully that's the case then I can keep my dedicated topwater rod. Great review!

P-Line Cxx Extra Strong Copolymer - For Topwater ?
What would # test would you recommend for topwater/jerkbait? Thanks!

Which Route Do I Go?
It’s an Okuma tcs 7’ Crank/jerkbait rod. Someone used the analogy of a wet noodle when they described it though which makes me nervous for squarebills and lipless cranks. In WI don’t fish a whole lot of timber but will be around docs. That’s what’s making me consider the 6’9 MH/MF. Should I make my topwater rod a jerkabait rod? Then eventually maybe a longer rod for med/deep diving cranks? I’m trying to limit myself to 6 rods since I don’t have a ton of space or a boat. My rods so far: 7’6 Heavy Okuma TCS – Flipping/Frog 7’3 Medium Heavy Duckett MM - Jigs/t-rigs 7’ Medium Okuma Helios – Topwater àShallow cranks/Traps???? àMedium/Deep Cranks???? 7’ Medium Duckett MM Spinning - finesse

Which Route Do I Go?
I just ordered a 7' M/MF rod for squarebills, lipless cranks, and jerkbaits. After snooping around on the forums it sounds like everyone uses a MH for squares and lipless cranks. But then what do I use for jerk baits!? I'm now considering getting a MH and using my topwater rod for that and jerk baits. If I do that then I have to pick a buoyant line that's also good for jerks. What would you guys do in my shoes?

Any Experience With Okuma Tcs-C-731H?
I have the 7'6 H paired w/ a TCS Helios, my favorite setup so far.

Monofilament Vs Copoly
I know you like 6# on spinning gear. Would you still use 6# for both finesse jigs and drop shot or bump up to 8#?

Monofilament Vs Copoly
Do you have any idea what p line cxx 6# breaks at? Trying to decide between the two.

Monofilament Vs Copoly
I usually see you mention Yo-Zuri, what is the 6# test like as far as break strength? Would it work for drop shooting?

Finesse Jigs And Dropshot?
Hey guys, thanks in advance for your input. I have a 7' M-F Micro magic pro that I use for my finesse fishing. I enjoy it a lot, light and sensitive. I use it for shaky heads, wacky rig senkos, dropshotting, etc.. I recently purchased some Izorline XXX in 20b test (broke above 27lb) for my MH rod. I really like it strong, low stretch, and decent abrasion resistance had a few pike bite my lipless crank. Tooth marks but still had my lure. Here's my question, I started looking into finesse jigs. About 5/16oz with a light wire hook. I want to use izorline xxx in about 10lb. Would this line be good for finesse jigs but still be good for certain finesse applications that focus on presentation like a drop shot? Maybe 8lb? I would like to attempt both with the same setup. What do you guys use for finesse jigs?

Johnny Morris Carbonlite Rod Vs Abu Garcia Veritas
I got a MH veritas then purchased a duckett ghost and it was a lot more sensitive. I can feel when the smallest nibbles and it has in creased my hook ups on t rigs. Like others said the veritas is a little stiff.

20Lb Line For Texas Rig And Topwater
I think I settled on 15lb mono for topwater. I believe xxx is a copolymer though so I felt like it would be fine for t rigs. I just want sure how it would cast or sit on the spool. And sorry if I made that confusing. I have a flipping rod spoiled with suffix but I want to use another rod for t rigs. I'm definitely keeping the suffix braid on the flipping rod. Thanks for the help guys!

20Lb Line For Texas Rig And Topwater
Yeah, that's why I was thinking of using it for topwater treble hook baits like walkers and poppers. Did it seem to cast alright though?

20Lb Line For Texas Rig And Topwater
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has experience w/ Izorline XXX in 20lb or above? I want to use it for t rigs for light to moderate cover on a MH rod. I have my flipping rod spooled w/ suffix 832 but the low visibility of floro and copolymer give me a little more confidence. I notice the diameter is kind of thick though (.45). I was just curious as to how it would perform on a low profile bait caster. For topwater I was thinking big game which is also a little thick and was wondering if 20b will be alright on a baitcaster. Thanks for the help!
