First package of Memorial sale.- The latest sale thread
Not working, wish I would of had it yesterday if it was working.- The latest sale thread
When does TW usually start their sale?- Where These Belong
Thanks guys, so check this out. I caught fish on a cpl different lures one being the Huddleston weedless shad. It's the first time I fished it and one or two of the fish above was taken on it. With that being said I missed a cpl fish with it and had 2 come off both really nice one being 8 to 9lbs. After coming home I got on the net and confirmed what I thought was the reason for missing and losing fish on it which was the rod I was using being too soft and I would of been better off with braid and a faster reel. Just wanted to help u guys from my mistakes lol.- Where These Belong

I spend the majority of my time on this Forum in this thread. I like you all am a tackle junky and love coming in here any talking about tackle. But more importantly where we share our knowledge and learn new things about our tackle and techniques to all arrive at the same goal, to catch more and bigger fish! So I think it's only right to share w my tackle junky brothas the fruits of our labor, lol enjoy my friends and Thanks!- Rage Bug Question
So I see quite a few of u T-rig it, but r u fishing it like a traditional T-rigged worm or just pitching it into cover and pulling it out? I fished it Thursday like a T-rigged worm, hopping it back to the boat and not a nibble. Yet the old baby brush hog was killin it as usual.- Rage Bug Question
Like many of us we have so many baits and only so much time. So many don't get used or only used a certain way. The Rage Bug, I have only used it and seen it used as a pitching/flipping bait. Is anyone just fishing it as a T-rig? And how about as a Mojo/Finesse C-rig? And while your hear what are your Top 2 creature baits for T-rigs? As always, thanks guys!- Show off your Stuff
They r both really sweet. I have a Conquest 201 and it's my lease used reel. That's a much nicer color than the gold and I dislike the audible drag on mine. What made u go with the Conquest over the Aldebaran or something similar out of curiosity? Cuz maybe I need one for the same reason lol.- The latest sale thread
Will they definitely be doing a Memorial day sale? Thanks for the heads up!- Early morning bass fishing in the spring
- Spinnerbait/Chatterbait box
Same, have a cpl of those hanging boxes and a rod across one of the closets in my sports room that I hang spinnerbaits off of also. Then when I co-angle spinners go in old tackle logic worm like bag with the separate baggies in it. And I put the strap of my main bag through the handle of it and it hangs on the side or top of bag. Chatterbaits are in a 6 or 7 fix slot small Plano box that fits in side pocket of main bag.- Chatterbait first impression
Haven't caught a fish on one yet. Have fished it a little bit over past yr and a half. I attribute it to not fishing it in the right locations as a co-angler. It's not been like the boater catching them on one but not me.- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I do have a spool of the SX1. I'm always buying new line and don't know if I notice any difference lol. But if I have problems with the TX1 I will spool up the SX1. I have their FX2 and BX2 also spooled up on my baitcasters and not sure yet which one I prefer.- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I've purchased a fair amount of stuff in the last 2 months will try and get some of it posted, I always forget to take pics when I buy stuff. I get excited and just rip it open, but here is what I took pics of so far.- First Frog Bite In TX
Yes sir lol, love catching them on a frog. I missed 2 really big ones also.- First Frog Bite In TX
Got on my first frog bite this past Tuesday. This was the 2nd biggest out of the dozen that I caught. My friend was too far away to keep the bigger one out of the water that long to take a pic. All these came on a white R2S frog, the original version.- Fishing partner
Which lakes are ya thinking of fishing? I fish club tournaments on Fork. Currently live north of Sulphur Springs but moving to a DFW suburb in the near future and can travel till then. I can fish whenever also.- Has Anyone Tried These Trapper Hooks?
Was checking them out on TW, thought about perhaps trying their dropshot hook?- Large Fishing Tackle Outlet
I buy the majority of my stuff on line. But if I do need something while on the water which is rare there are some pretty decent stores around the lake. It's a 2hr drive for me to go to BPS but the one near me is actually really good with selection ect. but it's also on a pretty famous TX lake. Well on my way back from Florida last week I needed to stretch my legs and happen to find a BPS along my route. So I stopped thinking it was going to be like the one on the lake, lol not! The place was a joke to any serious bass angler, I couldn't believe it. They didn't even have the slim dropshot weights just the round? Yeah I took it for granted that they were all pretty much the same but learned that couldn't be further from the truth.- Mojo Rig
When I started fishing it is used the mojo weights but know I use tungsten worm weights with bobber stops on either side. Tungsten for the smaller profile to come through cover better. The split shot rig is popular where I fish and I feel this is the same as a mojo, split shot or a C-rig. Yes it's different than the traditional C-rig in that the fish will feel the weight but I don't use the traditional 3/4 or bigger weights. It's also nice to be able to try different leader lengths on the fly and your only tying one knot. I catch a lot of fish on that rig and always have one tied up for tournaments. I fish Fork which is highly pressured and the fish feeling the weight doesn't seem to be a deterrent.- What Sz Snaps To Order?
I'm placing a TW order and only know Snaps by looking at them not sure what number sz to order for 1/2, 1/4oz and 1.5 square bills? I also don't like the Mustad ones I have and want to try the VMC's which would be there 1, 2 or 3 sz or the Molix Hyper snap in their 2, 3 or 4? I'm aware of the Owner Hyper Snaps but like the other two better. If anyone has good or bad experiences w the VMC or Molix let me know, thanks. - Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
