  1. Anyone know if I can buy just the frame from Shimano or anywhere else? Thanks
  2. Thanks, any idea of what the color difference is? If not I will contact them, I have a TW order I wanna place with these in it and want to order know instead of waiting till Monday.
  3. What's the difference w the tucked out ones? Color, body shape?
  4. Got it, forgot about bigger blades more lift. But out of curiosity know when and why do I go w a 3/8oz?
  5. If the spinnerbaits I want come in 3/8 & 1/2 should I go w the 1/2 to burn it just under the surface? I figure the extra weight will help keep it down allowing me to reel it faster? Thanks guys.
  6. Weather has been crazy in TX. Catching them good enough to be consistently placing in tournaments but nothing is ever good enough for me lol. Nothing beats being on the water, to hone your skills and keep up with what the fish are doing. I'm fortunate to fish at least 3 days a wk all yr long at 48. My best advise, STAY POSITIVE and always know your gonna catch em.
  7. Making TW order and have no idea what sz snaps to order. Will be throwing 1/2 + 3/4oz traps. Sz 00 or 1? Any help would be appreciated.
  8. Asking cuz I know TW no longer sells it and I broke 35lb on a hookset on what was probably a DD fish on Fork the other day. Was a slack line set and I know braid isn't a good shock resistant line. But I just want to know if it was me or if there was a problem w this stuff and that's why TW is no longer selling it? Thanks
  9. These are about to be put back into circulation on lake Fork!
  10. @A-Jay Thanks boss!
  11. Need some treble Hooks, can anyone who purchased these tell me if they are short shank? The Aaron Martins Gammy nano finesse and the Owner stx-45 zo wire thanks.
  12. River 2 sea, my favorite frog and I have em all.
  13. just been fishing the factory hooks on the 75X, but next time I fish it will probably be with mustad EWG or owner st36's. Southeast PA, Im from eastern PA and lived in SE PA for 10yrs. Latrobe, Greensburg area. I dont want to be decorating bushes w 20 dollar baits until I get better at coming through them lol.
  14. Only been fishing squarebills for 2 yrs, but I fish 2 to 4 times a wk. So my wormin SB through brush is still in its infancy lol. The 75X and honestly a lot of their hardbaits along w other co.'s hooks are what I consider big. This bait gets hung extremely easy through stumps let alone brush piles. I know the pros especially KVD says he goes bigger on the hooks? Is that to sell us more baits, seriously. I'm goin smaller on the 75X And SK 1.5 to experiment. Now I could be wrong, maybe the flat sided 75X is to be fished like a lipless over grass flats. But in their explanation for it they say deflects off cover. Think the SK 1.5 comes with 4s on it I'm gonna try 6s all the way around. I know guys run a 4 in the front and 6 on back. Just like pros that run a Ratltrap w one hook on the front. I think it's more important to be able to run it through cover and get bites then worry about bigger hooks so they don't come unbuttoned. U gotta hook em first and today's hooks r so sharp. So what do u SB guys think, do, know lol thanks.
  15. Guy I fish w in the club on lake Fork fishes these. I plan on picking some up.
  16. Fleck, that's a new one to me. Will have to check them out. Cool coming across brands u never heard of.
  17. True, its all about confidence. And I don't have much in the SK baits lol. Been catching them pretty good on the Santone Got 5 bait.
  18. Yes it does look sweet!! @scaleface there like a lipless crankbait, different wire type and diameters give off different vibrations. And fish may prefer a different vibe on any given day. I prefer a thin wire bait, but posted this to see what else I don't have is being productive for guys. But like always the first goal is to be where the fish are.
  19. What trailer is on the Biovex and do u catch them well on the Megastrike which is the Roland Martin spinnerbait right? What replacement skirts r u guys using?
  20. Have some Picasso's but forgot about the Stanley's.
  21. Have a bunch of war eagles, very well made. Hand tied skirts! Yep have these also. And Terminators lol. Awesome, thanks for the info. Not sure how u make skirts using skirt tabs for jigs but interesting.
  22. Based off ability to catch fish, don't care how long the wire lasts. Feel free to name more than one. Also what's your favorite replacement skirt? Probably have a 100 SK spinnerbaits but they dont produce so gonna sell them. Anyone elses thoughts on the SK spinnerbaits? Thanks guys!
  23. The living rubber jigs I have also have long skirts. It's so they can really ploom out once hitting the bottom. Great cold water bait. If u don't want that big ploom presentation go w a silicone skirted jig but I wouldn't trim the living rubber.
