  1. I realize this deal is at Walmart but dang that seems hard to pass up, they have them on the Lews site for 260. Can anyone say whether this is actually worth it?
  2. You can go to a store and look through the packs they have. I believe thats the Skeet reese color and i have some thats mainly all orange because they dont mix them well. And they're brighter than that as well
  3. Looks like Dicks is doing the buy 3 get 3 free again for 6th Sense hardbaits and frogs and it's available online this time.
  4. 6th Sense Lux 7'1" med-hvy Vega frog Outkast Stealth Feider jig black sapphire and bream Gama skip gap hooks 2 Flambeau tuff krate rod holders 2 packs of tungsten these sales are killing me
  5. Got out for a couple hours after work and finally took the kayak out to a lake. Wind didn't die off like it was supposed to but did manage to catch this 4lber
  6. First fish in the new Kayak. Hit a couple of ponds on Fort Sill and had about 7 shake off at the kayak
  7. Doesn't say anything on the placard, I did have an issue where it didn't ring up right and they had to fix it, but it was worth it
  8. Dicks is doing Buy 3 get 3 free on 6th Sense hard baits and frogs until the 15th
  9. I want to say around '18-19, whatever department runs the ponds either MWR/department of resources, whatever it is, went through a big change. They got rid of most of the actual game wardens on post and switch to MPs and it seemed to me the the care of the ponds went down hill. The banks weren't really being mowed, nothing was getting taken care of. But also, that will happen at Metz, ive went there and not seen a fish and then went the next time and couldn't stop catching them. All depends. There are definitely big fish still in there, it really depends on luck. If you are looking to increase your chances of an 8lb+, I would try 19,20,21-23, 28 and 2. I remember before I left in 20, one of the scientists they have said Dogwood (28) was really the trophy pond. I believe if you look through my posts, I make have posted the topo maps with brush locations to majority if not all the ponds. If not, let me know and Ill see if I cant find them and show you a couple good places I know of
  10. I was stationed at Stewart from '15-20. If you're fishing the bank, there is a T shaped wind break right when you pull up to the pond. If you stand out there you can cast out to the Cypress Trees and catch them all day.
  11. Ive been here awhile but about to move to the other side of the state
  12. 25% off everything at Dicks thru tomorrow
  13. ArmyBassin' changed their profile photo
  14. After a few chilly nights, woke up to 46 degrees here in SE Georgia this morning and almost didn't head out. Was glad I did I after i pulled in a new PB. She weighed in at 8lbs 6oz. Getting closer and closer to double digits!
  15. Ive fished the creek a few times but prefer the ponds around. A lot of them have started going down hill especially in the last year, big fish still get pulled out but not as often as 3years ago when i got here. But, if there are any Stewart guys on here, i was able to get the maps after a deep google search, ill gladly send them to you if you want, just send a message.
  16. Thanks to google for putting a *** article on the wifes phone about the prespawn, she wanted to go out today. Had another 4lber slam the chatterbait!!
