I realize this deal is at Walmart but dang that seems hard to pass up, they have them on the Lews site for 260. Can anyone say whether this is actually worth it?

Any PIT BOSS makers?
You can go to a store and look through the packs they have. I believe thats the Skeet reese color and i have some thats mainly all orange because they dont mix them well. And they're brighter than that as well

Metz Pond- Ft. Stewart, GA
I want to say around '18-19, whatever department runs the ponds either MWR/department of resources, whatever it is, went through a big change. They got rid of most of the actual game wardens on post and switch to MPs and it seemed to me the the care of the ponds went down hill. The banks weren't really being mowed, nothing was getting taken care of. But also, that will happen at Metz, ive went there and not seen a fish and then went the next time and couldn't stop catching them. All depends. There are definitely big fish still in there, it really depends on luck. If you are looking to increase your chances of an 8lb+, I would try 19,20,21-23, 28 and 2. I remember before I left in 20, one of the scientists they have said Dogwood (28) was really the trophy pond. I believe if you look through my posts, I make have posted the topo maps with brush locations to majority if not all the ponds. If not, let me know and Ill see if I cant find them and show you a couple good places I know of

Metz Pond- Ft. Stewart, GA
I was stationed at Stewart from '15-20. If you're fishing the bank, there is a T shaped wind break right when you pull up to the pond. If you stand out there you can cast out to the Cypress Trees and catch them all day.

FT Stewart Maps
Ive fished the creek a few times but prefer the ponds around. A lot of them have started going down hill especially in the last year, big fish still get pulled out but not as often as 3years ago when i got here. But, if there are any Stewart guys on here, i was able to get the maps after a deep google search, ill gladly send them to you if you want, just send a message.

J Lee Comeback Jigs
I just picked up 3 of these jigs today and out of the pack the skirt seems ridiculously long. These are my first living rubber jigs and I didn't know if they were supposed to be that long or cut.

Port St Lucie Bass Fishing Help
I was just down there visiting the wife's family for vacation. There's a few parks around where you can fish from the bank. There only place I know of around there is Blue Cypress Lake. It's north of PSL around vero about 30-40mins I believe. There's also a shopping center there called Traditions that has a decent sized pond that I've seen guys pull pretty big bass out of. Unfortunately, it's also a neighborhood and I'm told the people that live around there like to call the cops on you

Just bank for right now. Trying to find a good used job boat to use.

I'm not sure, I'm 2 weeks into 3 weeks of leave and just got back today. They had them closed last week and so far this week up to Thursday. Possibly doing work, controlled burns and stuff. There's another decent size pond in town I've been to once before. Probably check it out again this week to see if it's gotten better. Also gonna look into the PFAs (public fishing areas) but that's another $20 license. I've read about a bill dance signature lake 30mins from base but from what I've read it's in a gated community

I know the ponds are, you can have a boat with a trolling motor on them and I see guys in kayaks in the ponds all the time. As for the river I know you can have boats but I'm not 100% sure on the rest of the rules or how fast it gets. The website has the policy letter that says all the rules. Only thing I would be worried about is the alligators but most of them aren't really aggressive. The only downside is there are weeks like this week where there is literally no ponds open on ft stewart
