  1. Hey guys, You all know im new to the bass fishing world and Christmas is fast approaching. I have enough rods for what and how often if fish. Im looking for essential items I should ask "santa" for Christmas. Heres my list so far. Assorted Quality Soft plastics from Gary Yamamato, Zoom and Yum. Assortment of jigs, and trailers. Crankbaits. Shakey heads. A tackle backpack. Any ideas, im going to be fishing a pond complex this next season starting January first.
  2. Fish Fights are fun, but big fish are fun to. I have to pick big fish because my pb is small at this point.

Rods: Johnny morris Carbonlite M/L Reels: Pflueger President Baits: Jigs, wieghtless plastics, crankbaits, craw baits Techniques: Finnese, Dropshot, Football Jig, Swimbait/Flukes Its my first year really getting into bass fishing, I found a place to fish next year, because I have been researching a place to fish for weeks now. Hard work pays off. I also have a quantum pt rod and some quantum reel that is really nice.

  16. Update. Caught 2 on zoom worms. Ordering the inline spinners and senkos. They will come Tuesday. But this fish Is what i caught on the zoom trick worm, black. Small little fish. But hey its still a fish.

  18. Im sorry, Im new to forums. I mean lures as in hardbaits. I also meant to add soft plastics. Theres a fallen tree in the corner and the rest is mud flats. Theres is no grass because of a grass carp that weighs 40 pounds in the pond. There is a deep section in the middle. Ive never caught the big bass.
  19. I fish at a pond near my home up the road. The bass love night-crawlers on a bobber. I have only have hits on black trick worms t rigged. What lures should I use, the fish are only up to 1 pound?

  22. What kind of spinner bait to use for clear, shallowish water at 7 in the morning. Im going to a new spot and want a spinner, or buzzbait. Thanks -Eric
  23. Well I have a assortment of lures, kvd chartreuse crank bait silent, spot lipless firestarter, lizards, black zoom worms, senkos, A bass jig 3/8 with zoom super chunks, rapala minnows original. I can buy something else also. But I fish at a pond the fish only like night crawlers and the pounders like zoom worms. Its my neighbors pond, I have asked to use it every week so imma give her a break. Im fairly new to bass fishing. I have a kvd quantum baitcaster and rod and a spinning set up, ugly stik pro light mh and Mitchell 308
