  1. I agree with this. I fish straight 14# Sniper on my finesse jigs and 12# InvisX on my cranks.. both have been great to me.
  2. InvisX is a great crankbait fluoro line. Actually has a good bit of stretch and really allows for more feel on the heavier rods required to get deep divers down. I use 12# on a MH/MF and have had no complaints.
  3. I like moderate action with all my treble hook lures.
  4. A squarebill will be able to float it's way out of trouble and of course has a bill that can at least deflect the bait to avoid hang ups.
  5. Same here, love Creme Scoundrels.
  6. I was just there for BassFest.. what a shame. It was my first time there and I was very impressed with their inventory and product knowledge.
  7. I've got a 6'6" MH/F Micro spooled with 50lb braid. I beat the hell out of the thing and it's performed great. I got mine for a similar price and I have no regrets.
  8. I went and held the cranking variant last Friday not knowing it had a different reel seat than the others. Wasn't crazy about it. I also held a Cashion for the first time and just didn't like the material used for the handles.
  9. Less than $8 all together.. finally!
  10. I would avoid braid and recommend mono or invizx
  11. The Fat Papa rolls pretty well but it's a deeper running bait.
  12. I have a 5.6:1 MB for cranking duty and I love it.
  13. I spent a small fortune on lures this past season and my best fish came on an original Rapala F-5 in silver.
  14. I don't understand the hype over the hollow body sunfish..
  15. Am I the only one who's Dicks, WallyWorld, Gander etc.. never have these sort of deals? great find!
  16. I might like tuning my jerkbaits more than fishing them. I've had the most luck with pointers but beyond that I've had no problems with RCs, Twitchin Sticks, Jackall Squads and Shadow raps. Another bait I like that I bought a few of from a member in here is the River2Sea minnow. I believe it's discontinued but the suspending and action is great. Buy some suspendots and owner stingers and tune accordingly.
  17. Nothing like punching through the thick stuff..
  18. I have three go to squarebills. I now have about 20 KVDs that are mostly 1.5s, XCS100s which have a great wobble, and the Spro Little John (if you consider that a squarebill) that have an awesome slow float. I would jump on eBay and just buy a big lot of KVDs in the color that best suits you.
  19. Man, you guys need to get on Susquehana Fishing Tackle's website. Awesome inventory, great prices and fast shipping.
  20. $3 a pop, how could you say no? Won't feel as bad when I get hung up now.
