;D ;DI love how blunt that statement is. Extremely nice fish man, congrats. It looks like a monster yes its blunt i also wrote a testemonial for bomber basicly saying go bomber or dont go at all ill tell you after three fish over 10lbs and hundreds others smaller on the same bait i believe in bombers i wont be caught with out them and also just so everyone knows these fish were caught from a lake rumered by locals to winter kill every year and has no fish my first two ten lbers came from the same spot and this 11lber came from 10ft away , and now they are all sharing the same wall

ive been reluctant to post this pic due to all the crap i caught over the last two fish i posted but here it is if you dont believe it is 11lbs well to bad, it is i hope you enjoy the picture it also made the Tulsa World which is a local paper in tulsa oklahoma
  15. hey baitmonkey12 you are right about snappers they do eat fish. but more often than not it isnt the snappers that is bieng killed ,red ear sliders are the innocent bystanders and i dont know anyone who can tell at 20 to however many feet out in the water what kind of turtle is bieng shot. and when these turtles are bieng shot i hope you are using steel shot . if a rifle is in use well that is just [uneducated] because of the ricochet, the cage is the best way to get rid of unwanted snappers
  16. thanks rw i like what ive got and would like to last so i will start doing that
  17. ive been told to back off my star drag on my baitcasters when not in use but i dont i leave it set at 25% of my line rating wich has always been perfect does any one back off there drags???
  18. for those who say turtles dont eat fish you are correct red ear sliders a very common turtle and more often than not are the ones bieng shot and killed they are the best thing for the fish they eat only DEAD OR DYING FISH they are scavengers , the aligater snaping turtle actually fishes for his meal with the tonge as stated by take me fishing 2. So the next time you snipe a turtle in the water are you sure what kind it is and if by some chance you kill the red sliders of f well then you better hope you know wich fish are sick and only catch those because you killed the one thing that will help stop the spread of sickness among the fish . also if the turtles are not considered destructive by the wildlife dept then you need a commercial harvest liscence and shooting is not allowed. And i know our dept does not consider the slider to be destructive but BENIFICIAL
