I own an Uncle buck 8ft pond prowler and its pretty darn stable. I have no problem standing in it. However it is a handful in high current/ high wind situations. I usually take it on smaller electric only lakes and its perfect for that. Very easy to load/unload by myself if I need to. Its a good little boat but I wish I would have gone with a regular aluminum jon boat.

I have caught quite a few fish on this bait. I just cast it out and let it sink for a little bit then steadily reel it in. Ive caught fish from 1lb to my 5lb pb. It doesn't work all the time it seems like.

I recently picked up a new falcon original rod for $20 at wally world. I like the rod but I prefer shorter handles and this one is LONG. Is there any decent way to shorten it? Like cutting and capping it off? Thanks guys

you would not believe how well herculiner sticks to stuff. It wont even come off your hands. Just scuff the paint and roll it on, then your set for life. but make sure you get herculiner, other brands dont seem to be as good.

i wouldnt run that stuff year round, its not good for your seals to be constantly subjected to that stuff. Not to mention all the smoke!

If you fish often by yourself or dont want a trailer get a 2 seater bass boat. I have one and i can load it and unload it by myself easily. Its more stable than a 12ft jon boat with a 36" bottom (my buddy has one) But it doesnt handle big water quite as well and it drifts really easily. I could see an aluminum boat lasting longer than the plastic ones. The plastic boat will still last a really long time provided you take care of it.

I lived in Texas up until about a year and half ago. I now live in GA and can say that the fishing is definitly slower here (at least in the newnan/peachtree city area.) Here in georgia there seems to be a lot of private lakes and ponds you cant fish, It wasnt so much that way in texas.

you havent heard of craigslist.com? Its a good online classifieds site. I see inexpensive jon boats on there all the time.

if your going to get an inflatable DO NOT get that one!! my friend has it and it is the biggest piece of junk EVER!!
