  1. I have som old 12 lb bass pro brand mono that has seriously bad memory issues that I want to use for backing. Would 12 lb mono be suitable for 50 lb braided line?
  2. Would a 7 foot medium bass pro crankin stick be able to handle square bills and crankbaits that dive to around 10 feet? Would a medium heavy be better for doing both?
  3. I am all about versatility. If I were to get two spinnerbaits what color skirts what blade shape/colors would work best in a variety of situations?
  4. How many color variations of the same hardbait do you think is necessary? When I buy crankbaits I usually get one in a natural baitfish color and one in a chartreuse like color.
  5. What else can I use my 7'6" mh for besides flipping/pitching and frogs?

  9. Recently I was at Bass Pro they had a lot of the previous model rods on sale. I put my gift card towards two extreme rods one being a 7' medium heavy spinning and the other a 7'6" medium heavy casting rod. They were on sale for $64.95 each. I also saw bionic blades which were probably even cheaper. So you might get a good deal on a clearance rod.
  10. The rod says it is rated for lures 1/4 to 3/4 oz
  11. For $30 dollars I also thing the Shimano sienna is an awesome deal. I have the 500fd n my ultralight ugly stik elite for trout and panfish and I have the 2500fd on a 6 foot medium ugly stik lite for a travel rod. They are incredibly smooth and pretty solid I would recommend it to anyone looking for a low priced quality spinning reel.
  12. I have a 6'6 m/f casting rod with a 7:1 reel on it what techniques would this setup be best for and what kind of line should I put on it? Would this combo be too light for spinnerbaits?
  13. I'm looking for a versatile line for my spinning rod. I want to use it for weightless senkos, Shakey heads, Texas rigs, and lipless cranks (the reel has 33 IPT). I was thinking mabey I could use braid with a flouro leader would this work? If so What at pound braid and flouro?
  14. Just unil i get a casting crankbait setup
  15. It is the bps extreme spinning reel
  16. Would a reel with 33 ipt and a 5.4:1 ratio be too fast for shallow and sqarebill crankbaits?
  17. Does anyone have any experience with the Casitas?
  18. Yesterday I bought a 7' med-heavy XPS extreme spinning rod and paired it with my older Pro Qualifier pq50 spinning reel. What are some applications for this combo and what would it excell at?
