I'm thinking about pairing the Curado 70 with the 6'6" ml carbonlite for finesse fishing and lighter lures. Any other suggestions? I'm either going to do this or pair it with the ml Avid X but the carbonlite would save me some money.

Im doing research on stella's but im getting confused with model numbers and the year it was made. I'm looking at a sw2500s but I can't figure out what year it was made.

I have a 500 sized spinning reel would it be too small for a 6' light power rod?

I am thinking about getting a Daiwa liberto pixy and pairing it with the 6' ML BPS crankin stick. Thoughts, suggestions? I don't want to spend over $80 on the rod. I want to use this setup for small crankbaits and rooster tails for trout.

You should consider the Shimano sienna. I have two the 500 and the 2500 and they preform exceptionally well for a $30 reel.

Right now the bass pro bionic blade rods are on sale for $50. I understand where you're coming from I'm also 15 and have to fish on a budget. Most of my rods and reels were aquired on sale or on clearance.?

Today I was spooling some 50lb spiderwire stealth on to one of my reels and I noticed some of the green dye came of on my fingers where I was pinching the line. If I simply pinch it and pull it through my fingers a little comes off. Is this normal?

I got some 50 lb braid for my flipping rod and I'm trying to decide what lb line I should put on my 7' MH setup. Would 50 lb with a leader be ok for it too or should I go with something lighter.

I posted this topic before and I didn't get may responses so I figured I would try again. I recently bought a 7'6" MH bass pro extreme rod for flipping, Pitching, and frogging. I don't have a basic 7' MH yet so would it be good use this rod for some basic techniques? Go panthers!!!
