I recently bought a new to me fish finder a lowrance HD5 , but been trying to research where and how to put the transducer mount on the boat . So my question is should I go with putting it inside the hull for the sake of not drilling holes in the boat ? all information gratley appreciated. Boat is a triton TR20 2001

no it was running great it was on plane...I wouldn't say its losing total power like I said it is cranking but not starting it will crank about 3 turns of the key then go back to a hard click let it reast for a few and then it will give you a low crank again like its trying to start

no the kill switch stayed in the on position..... it was like the gas cut off on it or something no noise or nothing just completely died

it is a new battery I had it on charge over night took it out and it started it fine fist 3 times we moved spots that's all the battery is use for is the starter so id say yeah pretty much a charged battery....we would have to force it back down and turn they key and it would go up and turn the fly wheel but motor would not start then after letting of the key the bendix would not fall back down

as I was going up the lake yesterday my motor complete stops mid run no smoke no oil when I turn the key I just get a hard click when I get home and get the top off to motor looks fine take spark plugs out and the motor turn over no grinding or other noise in the motor good air coming out of spark plug holes ...then we notice that the bendix is stuck up in the fly wheel it wont drop back down and realize that maybe the starter is not turning fast enough to get the boat started.....dose anyone have any experience with this that can help me out a little bit

It is a beautiful 74 slight overcast here in eastern Kentucky standing on the front of my triton one foot on the trolling motor 2 hands on my new lews reel and mojo bass combo zebra spook tied on covering water looking for that top water blow up then I see the swirl around the bait and about the time it starts to blow up the the phone rings and I snap back to reality and realize im at work ...and im sure my 2 days off will be thunder storms and rain lol mother nature hates me!!

dose look like a fish we catch often in Kentucky we call them red eyes..

usually.. slim jims , chips and water for me........only if we could have beer on KY lakes!!!

just placed my order at TW included Lew's Tournament Pro G Speed Spool that I have had my eye on for a while

just talked to them it was the battery it was completely dead had to put a bigger charger on it and not the trim is working thanks

I will tell them to try it they are home now and but the battery's back and charge i will tell them to try that if it still don't work

so I plugged up my battery's last night around 7ish my step dad and mom was taking the boat out this morning (im at work) but when they got to the lake the trim would not work and the motor would not turn over..i have a triton 3 bank charger that says the battery's are charged...I was out on it last week on Friday and everything was fine but step-dad said the live well switch was left on when he got to the lake.....could this be a motor issue? or just battery? thanks for all the info

the dry weight of the boat is only 1440, idk about the trailer but doesn't that leave plenty of room

I bought a 2000 Triton TR20 last October I have been pulling it with my step dads truck till I get a hitch and stuff put on my H3 now that I got everything ready to go on im kinda starting to get worried that maybe my H3 wont be able to tow it. It will not be going on long trips a couple hours max mostly less then 2 hours I was wonder what you guys think about if I will be ok....the hitch I bought is rated for class III to IV. thanks for any info and information The towing pounds rated for my H3 is 4500

I am looking to replace my starter reel (AG Black Max) I got to start using baitcaster and now that I have got better and feel more comfortable with them im looking for a upgrade I have been looking at the lews reels and the *** *** reels...I would be using them for variety of techniques...I would par one of them with either my jonny morrison carbonlite rod or my AG Veritas 2.0 micro guide rod....both rods are 6"9 MH/F.....im just wonder what reels you guys think would be better looking below $200
