U got any pictures of the spot you were at? I live down south so never been to any canals up in broward.

I went fishing at the canal on the north side of AD Barnes Park this past Saturday, although I only caught one Peacock it was a nice one. I had other bites but had the line snap twice trying to pull it up from the water level to the bank where I was at. Its like a 5 ft drop off so I guess I need a net next time. Here the pic of the pea that i caught.

Hello, I'm new to BR and have found all the info on the site very helpful. Still relatively new to bass fishing so any tips will help. I finally got a Saturday off from work and I am planning on headed to Tropical Park and AD Barnes Park in Miami for some fishing early Saturday morning. Has anyone had success at either of these parks? If not, could you recommend any places by this area that would be good bass spots? Thanks
