I am going in a fishing contest this Saturday. To win you have to have the biggest bass. You can fish any where you want to as long as you are back at 4:00. This pond has big bass in it and a lot of slimy weeds. I was thinking I should tie on a swimbait, a t-rigged creature bait or big worm, jig, big senko. What would you guys tie on?

I use 65lb Power Pro on a 7 ft medium heavy baitcaster.

I like to use these when the bass are schooling.

I just purchased for some ABT Shade Rip Baits which are the same thing as the King Shad, but the colors I ordered are on backorder so I'm gonna be waiting a little while before I even get them leta alone use them.

I have used them with success and never had any problems. I would try what Ceph said also.

They dont hurt that bad except at point blank range, they also hurt if people are shooting over 300 fps. It just stings at first but you'll live.

Has anyone had success with these swimbaits? I am going to buy some swimbaits such as one of these and a matts lures.
