  4. can i get info on ramps at alloway, elmer, rainbow or lenape? i cant figure out which ramps i can launch from.
  5. Had to put down the chatterbait and reached for my jig out of desperation. Caught her in really thick shallow cover.
  6. haha well you got me. im a terrible angler! i cant put down the chatterbait and cant stop from going shallow.
  7. youre not missing much. bass fishing there right now is terrible. this is the second time in a row that ive been skunked. Sunday I fished the cove and noticed a guy painfully dissecting every laydown for hours and hours. we were fishing the opposite sides and neither of us got a bite. im physically exhausted pedaling up and down that whole place. maybe in a couple more weeks they'll be up shallow.
  8. no idea but the bass are still out deep.
  9. Was at Marsh endlessly throwing a chatterbait and spinnerbait with nothing to show. then towards the end of the cove as i was lifting my chatterbait out of the water i see a muskie follow it. I drop it back into the water and i see her swim back and hammer it. Had her thrashing for a second or two then she spits the hook. Im now drinking away the pain.
  10. its tough going for me too. last few trips ive only caught one each time. things will get better in a few weeks bro
  11. Fished the main lake and got her rolling a spinnerbait over timber
  12. I carry 5 on my kayak but in the end i throw my chatterbait 95% of the time. I really cant seem to slow down and fish anymore. I know it hurts my catch rates but the itch to pick up a chatterbait is so strong. I really need to leave it and other chuck and wind baits at home and try to learn how to fish slow again.
  13. Same spot same lure.
  14. i tossed everything. mainly a spinnerbait.
  15. went to marsh and got blown around and got skunked. there were some guys in boat that basically cut me off twice. almost lost my temper. im really thinking that i need to avoid that place from now on.
  16. hey man welcome. theres a regional SE PA fishing location part of this forum thats getting some steam. come check it out.
  17. they do work but if you go before they start patrolling....
  18. Freakishly warm weather yesterday. Decided to join some buddies to bank fish some secret spots that's been on fire lately. Buddy caught this on a Walmart spinner, she was hugging under some timber from a beaver dam.
  19. for sure, luckily i live a block away from a small pond in south philly. This early spring like weather has really kick started the fishing for me. i was thinking about marsh this weekend but i really hate boat traffic. im a kayaker so i when i pedal my way near the bridge and see so many spots being pounded its a wasted 40 minutes going there then back to the southern coves. btw maybe this thread needs to be opened up to other areas near us like south jersey or upper delaware. I feel like their reports can be good since its basically the same conditions.
  20. Wife said I had 30 minutes after work. Made the most of it with the chatterbait. Surprised about the snakes biting so early in the year.
  21. Ive been trying to un subscribe for the last few days wondering why I keep getting these notifications about this topic then it just dawned on me I started it.lmao
  22. Cabelas spinner bait on my lunch break.
