To me...it's still a fun day and cool place to visit. I go with my dad and sons and it's better than a day at work!

Another kayak question....carts!
Nice!! Price wasn't as bad as I thought. Looks like it will go anywhere and easy to use. Christmas cash burning a hole in my pocket!

Another kayak question....carts!
Looking to do some more exploring at hard to get to lakes here in Eastern Pa. Any suggestions on a good, reliable and sturdy kayak cart? Trails will be unpaved hiking type trails. I'd like to purchase one, really not interested in building one. Thanks!

Kayak paddle
Thanks for all the feedback. Much appreciated.

Kayak paddle
Is a $250 paddle worth it? I've been yak fishing for a few years now and have a decent $100 paddle...just wondering if you really notice a difference with a carbon paddle such as the Bending Branches Angler Ace or Angler Pro.

2017 Harrisburg outdoor show
I've gone to that show for years! Yes you can purchase some items. Depends on who's selling and what they're selling. Pricing seems to be fairly aggressive too. Oh and the show is HUGE!!!!

Advice for a newbie
You can pick up a St. Croix Triumph X rod from their website for $60.00 (that's $40.00 off) and you can get a decent reel from Dicks or most stores for $49.00 to $59.00 and you'll have a decent set up! Just my opinion as a budget minded bass fisherman!

Flipped...
Well what I never thought would happen"..happened yesterday. While smallie fishing on the Delaware I flipped my Kayak. Not even sure how or why it happened. Water was just a little rough (not bad at all) I was paddling across, the side dipped down and over I went! Glad to have my PFD on......for all the times I thought rod leashes were a silly idea, I wish I had them!! 4 rods gone forever along with a iPhone. Amazingly I saved 99% of my gear! Still, not a fun day!

Show your ride...
Sorry for the delayed response! Yes we've fished it a bunch, never really catch much. It's VERY HEAVILY FISHED!!! I live about 1/2 mile from there. Do do you fish Beltzville? I NEVER catch anything there! Not sure what I'm doing wrong there.

Sit on top or sit in kayak
SOT without question. And you might get a little wet but it's not like you're going to get soaked.
- kayakers, how do you transport your boat?
