  1. A medium spinning rod and a.med heavy casting rod
  2. If I were you, I'd get a med heavy fast baitcasting, medium fast baitcasting, and med spinning. With only three rods I think a medium fast has more versatility than a med moderate.
  3. Another option would be to get 2-3 different setups that are still good quality
