Has anyone tried these? I have them in yellow but not sure how to fish them. Are they considered floating worms?

The difference between you guys and me is you dont know what your doing or didnt, but you still catch bass here and there. Ive caught 3 bass. 2 on bobber and worm and a 1 pounder on spinner bait.

Has anyone here basically had to teach themselves how to fish? I have been on my friends boat a few times and my grandpa lives on the sound but my dad never liked fishing much. He was more of a sports guy, which also has helped me tremendously, but I never had any guidance on bass fishing or really any kind. I tried out fishing when i was in middle school and loved it and still do it now and im 17. I try to read a lot into bass fishing on here but the success never comes. Has anyone here ever basically had to teach themselves and gather information here and there rather than someone actually teach you? I think me trying to teach myself is why I never catch anything.

yea fatboy i found out its not duckweed. it used to be but now its like a giant patch of grass.

well I have to fish from the bank, and there would be no way for a boat to get there. Its pretty bad. Im not sure if its duckweed or not but its pretty bad. The whole creek is filled with it.

Hey guys I have a problem. This creek behind my house that leads to the main river is now willed with duckweed and other types of grasses. It used to be a pretty clear lake, but theres a road that ends one of it and trees have fallen from hurricanes. Its basically a big muddy grass pit. I have already tried to get the city to clean it out but it didnt work. Is there any way there are any bass down there?

What store would you guys say has the best fishing prices? The places around where I live are basically Walmart, Dicks, Kmart, and some smaller places. I like dicks variety, but walmart has $1 spinnerbaits.

Anyone here been catching any bowfin? I have caught 2 the past couple of days on plastic lizards and thats all I could catch. I was hoping itd be a bass, but the only good thing is that I now know I can catch something with a lizard.

thats stupid. i didnt even ask for it. they also were about to put me on some list when i never payed the dues for the stuff they sent me. I signed up for the free trial and it said if you dont want it dont pay so i didnt but they kept sending stuff and bills.

when is a good time to use frogs? are they supposed to be used on top of the water such as a popper? and what types of places do you fish them

how are you supposed to fish trick worms? I have been fishing them weightless but am not sure if its supposed to be on the bottom or floating. When you put the hook through the body do you put it all the way through or just barely? Do you put it directly in the middle or what? What can you do to make an easier hook set

Is it still texas rig without the sinker? What are the correct sizes for the sinker and hook? and what type of hook.

Whats a good plastic bait for a beginner. I dont care what type of plastic whether a worm lizard grub or crawdad but what plastic have you guys found that have worked the best that are easy to use. Also I have no boat so just fish from shores in little ponds and creeks.

How do you catch these bass that just swim back and forth? I have tried throwing everything I have in their. A carolina rig lizard, texas rig lizard, plastic worm with curled tail, small and big jig, and my fat ika. I throw it in their and jiggle it a little but he just looks at it and kind of shakes his head or something and leaves.

How do you tell if bass are in the spawning mode? I have seen some bass lately swimming in shallow water over weed beds(i guess there beds). Are there bass spawning and how do you catch them.
